Robert Goldstein's Abilities (Approved)

Name: Matter Manipulator

Appearance: A pure blue aura of spiritual energy surrounds Robert's hands looking like a strange pair of gloves. This covering can only be seen by those who can see spiritual beings.

Ability: While most superhumans can only change their bodies or something specifically related to their ability from material to reishi and back, Robert can do it to basically anything he chooses to. However, this lack of a specific medium also hinders any offensive use.

Techniques:

Disappearing Act: By focusing his spiritual pressure through an object, Robert can manipulate it like an extension of his body changing it from atom based matter to a reishi based item or visa versa. He can use this to either strengthen the defenses of something matter based or weaken a reishi based object. Also could be used to make something turn invisible that he wants to hide.

If he uses this on an object and leaves it alone the transformation can last for 72 hours before it returns back to normal. If he remains in contact trying to wield it as a weapon however, the time decreases drastically.

The size of the object also determines how difficult this is to use. Small objects are instantly changed, a person sized object would take one post to fully change, a car sized object would take two turns, and anything even larger would take 3. The size of a small house is his maximum and he can't use his powers at all for a day after.

Objects that are filled with vast amounts of reiatsu such as zanpakuto, dolls, or masks cannot be affected. Living beings can also not be changed.

Ghostly Presence: Robert can temporarily change his body from physical matter to reishi. This comes with slightly stronger physical strength and more importantly, much stronger defenses then his normal body. He can choose part of his body quickly or change his whole body.

Once cooldown is over he can change another part of his body into reishi even if the first is still reishi. The part of his body that is changed also becomes invisible to all but those who can see reishi.

Charge: Instant if small body part, 1 if whole body. Duration: 5 Cooldown: 3

World Gate: Imitating the Senkaimon of the Shinigami, Robert can mass transport people around the human world. He creates two gates in two different locations and connects them using the Dangai plain. The gate is able to change the people traveling between the two gates into reishi based beings temporarily and back to matter when the leave the second gate.

As the change into reishi is temporarily sustained by Robert's power, it cannot be used to enter Soul Society or Hueco Mundo. It can only be used from one place to another on Earth.

Robert needs to have a clear location of where to open the second gate either due to knowledge of the location or relying on actual coordinates. If he uses coordinates, the gate will open in a random area near that specific point. It will not open if it cannot be passed through. (Thus the second gate won't open in the middle of a mountain or something.)

There is also a limit to how many beings can go through the gate. Only 4 people besides Robert can go through the gates at one time. Also, Robert is required to go through the gates as well or they will not be able to be maintained.

I like it. It's a mainly supportive ability that is very useful yet has a good deal of limitations. It should be interesting rping as this character.

I give it a B+ . I'd give it an A, but the names of the techniques could be better.
