Personality: Yuuki is a strange character to be sure. his face is hard to read since he has a permanent melancholic look in his eyes. He is often seen as a loner, yet almost constantly seeks the company of others. He spends most of his time wandering, searching for something special - he puts it as "something or someone worth protecting". He is a born fighter, however he enjoys the job of a healer more, and whenever possible tries to solve things without combat. He is mostly straight forward, yet subtle at the same time and tends to be polite, especially towards women and children. He spends a lot of his time in libraries as he is quite fond of reading, especially on medicin and healing remedies. When he doesn't read or wander around he spends his time training.
Inner Hollow Personality: Yuukis inner Hollow has almost the same fighting style as him, but the personality is much different. It seeks battle, and enjoys hurting enemies more than anything else. Luckily, Yuuki has great control over it, only when he is severely injured while wearing his mask does he not have the will to fight it back.
Inner Hollow Appearance: Looks like an inverted version of Yuuki with a white Shinigami Uniform.
Fighting Style: Yuuki is a born swordsman, with some abilities in hand to hand combat and Flash Steps as to be expected of a Lieutenant. His skill at Kido is somewhat low, however as he served for a while in the 4th Division as well he is decent at healing since he trains it almost as much as his swordsmanship. He has no set style, reacting to the situation as needed. The closest thing would be his habbit of trying to hurt his enemies as little as possible, and his hatred of killing even when fighting Hollows, although if needed he will discard these feelings and do what he must.
Background:In lifeYuuki was born in an area torn in civil war. His parents died when he was young, and he himself didn't survive for long. He was hit by a stray arrow when running from a fight at the mere age of 10.
Joining the AcademyHe ended up in a middle class of Rukongai, still with fighting and having to steal to survive, but not as brutal as his home town. For most of his time he tried to help those in need, even if they had been stealing. Every day he'd feel hunger, and he was told it was a sign of him having spiritual power. As he became older, he found out more about this spiritual power, and he heard of the Shinigami Academy. His interest grew, and he would soon enroll.
Before defectionAfter graduating, he quickly joined the 4th Division, as he had learned they were the healers of the Shinigami. At first his skills at using healing Kido were quite low. However, after several years, and with the assistance of his fellow squad members, he became proficient enough to become a seated officer. But as time passed he noticed how his swordsmanship was greater than his healing skills, so after 50 years in the 4th Division he asked to be transferred to the 6th, as he knew they were in charge of Internal Affairs and wished to help keep peace, which he thought could be done more easily in that squad. Within 20 years he rose to the rank of Lieutenant, and was well respected by the others in his Division, also well liked among his old squad mates in the 4th.
Turning Vizard and leaving the 13 DivisionsOne day, Yuuki was sent out on a mission in the Real world with some members of the 6th Division. His mission was to find a high-level hollow and eliminate it. However, it was a smart one, and it didn't work alone. He and his team were ambushed, and heavily outnumbered. He yelled at his team to forget him and get back to Soul Society while requesting backup. They did as said, but Yuuki couldn't last long. He managed to make the Hollows flee, and was heavily injured, but a strange man came by. He asked if Yuuki wanted the power to overcome situations like those, and Yuuki accepted. The man awakened Yuukis inner Hollow, and his internal battle began. He emerged the victor in the battle of his soul, but as he looked around he could see he had caused heavy damage. He decided to travel around and learn to control this power. With the leftovers of the battle, when the backups arrived they assumed him to be killed in action.
