Appearance: He is quite tall, almost reaching 6.1 height. He looks muscular,by looking at his well-structured body shape. His most notable feautures,is his bald head,which is often mocked by people and his brown untrimmed beard and walrus moustache. He wears standard shinigami clothes which cover all his body from neck to heels. Like every captain he wears a white haori.F inally he wears Roman styled sandals.
Personality: Stauracius is a man of high ethics,as a result he will become indignant if someone dares to tamper or block his perspectives.However,he acts leniently toward his subordinates and peers.In addition,he is a gullible person toward friends,because of believing in the bond of trust.Consequently,he can be easily tricked.
Some of his comical traits,is the fact that he will beat up badly the person who will insult his baldness and also his irksome habit to show up late in the battlefield and be showy.
Furthemore,another evident trait of him,is his magnanimity,especially toward people who are in need of help.In addition,he is loyal to sotaicho,zealous in completing the shinigamis' goal and sophisticated by years of experience.
Fighting Style: He doesn't possess any special fighting style.He rarely swings his weapon against his enemies.Although,he may be regarded as useless during combat,he is renowned for his skill in healing allies and protecting them.His true weapon or better weapons are;eastern crosses.
Background:
Before Death
He was born in a war-torn period,a few years before the Fall of Constantinople.He was found as an infant by a group of priests who were encouraging citizens of the City by talking about God's Wrath on Turks.He grew up as a priest boy and continued the work of his saviours.
When the day came and wall of Constantinople fel,he was at the church,standing helpless with other priests and citizens who fled there for sanctuary.He prayed for God's help in this dire situation,along with other faithful servants of His.Nonetheless,the Turks didn't hesitate to slaughter them...in a brutal way.
As a Plus
He wandered endlessly to the east,since he had no one to grieve for his death and fel into deep oblivion.He believed that the form,he took was a punishment of God for all the sinful things he had done.He didn't know how many years have passed since his death.Until one day,he was suddenly buried by a shinigami.As the ground began to devour him,he knelt down and thanked God for ending his punishment by senting an angel here.
After life
He believed he was in heaven,but in truth he was at Soul Society,East Rukongai District 3.He lived with a new family this time,though he couldn't speak the language they talked,he clearly understood the meaning of the words.He lived happily for some years,praying with his family,walking around Rukongai and helping people.He once encountered a huge hollow,but thankfully it was slain by an another angel.He asked what was monster.The shinigami frankly answered him and further explained the shinigamis' purpose;to bring peace to all souls.That phrase ingrained in Dio's mind and without notice,he decide to join the academy.
He was alone at that time,but that didn't bother him.He only focused on joining Seiretei or as he called it Heaven's Might.Although his swordmanship was awfull,he was excellent in performing kido spells and quite average at hoho.He managed to pass with great grades and was assigned from the beginning to join the 4th Division.His contribution in the Division was great and as a result,he became famous among his division and then some of the Seiretei.Some supported him to become a captain.His chance came alive,when the spot was empty.The Captains of the other Division's decided to make him the new captain of the 4th Division.
