Instructions from an Overseer

Subject: Instructions from an Overseer Sat May 01, 2010 4:30 am

Natsu smiled happily as he walked in a wonderful park in Karakura. Everything here is so nice... I wonder when that Superhuman who lives here will show up. I'd like to see his abilities, and if possible even teach him a thing or two he quietly thought to himself as he admired various flowers. He closed his eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath before finding a bench to sit on and wait for Gabriel to arrive. He had found a nice little spot with no people around, yet plenty of room for training activities. He was quite happy that he had picked this spot.

As Gabriel just walked around near the place he was asked, he saw someone there sitting alone, who probably was the overseer that had just called him up to do some training. He didn't knew what his power was like, as it was always hard to have the chance to see any overseer in action.

Gabriel walked toward stopping just a few steps away from him "Hi i'm Gabriel" he took his left hand from his pants pocket and waved before he put it back "and... you're Natsu right. I was curious about why a overseer would call me to train, but i just decided to forget about it and play along in the end. I don't like to think that much"

Natsu smiled gently at Gabriel as he approached him. He got off the bench and went over to the young man, extending his hand to give a firm handshake, yet had a curious look in his eyes as he stared into Gabriels for a moment before plainly stating "I like your eyes" with a warm smile.

"You see, the reason I asked you to come was to find out more about your abilities and maybe even give a few pointers on how to improve your style of fighting. I have some free time myself, and I felt like helping out a fellow Superhuman if possible" he said. "If you'd like, before we begin you're free to ask me about my abilities. I also would like to know about yours more, so I can better help you train." Besides, it's always nice to meet new people he thought to himself.

"Well..." he answered back to him, while his hair and eyes just turned silvered and a lightly black reiatsu took place surrounding his whole body.
"...I'm ready to show you" saying this he tried to punch the overseer right in the chest with his right hand., trying to surprise him in a fast and close attack.

Natsu just smiled as he quickly activated his Cuerpo, his iris starting to glow with a faint blue light. He saw the hit coming, but decided to teach Gabriel a trick from Chinese Martial Arts. While completely relaxing his body, he took the hit dead on, letting the force from the punch throw him back, yet at the same time make it so he began to bend over, sending a headbutt towards Gabriel with the added force from his own punch. At the same time, he made a quick backstep so he wouldn't fall down if or when the headbutt would hit. He at least tried to catch me by surprise... it's a pretty good move, and his punch does carry some strength in it he thought as he noticed how his chest felt somewhat sore after the hit.

He was confident as his punch hit the overseer, and preparing the next move when he realized that Natsu probably let he hit him, as Natsu performed a strange movement and gave him a headbutt making him to lose control and fall.
"I would never expect that from an Overseer" Gabriel said while in the ground passing his hand on his forehead, after been pushed by Natsu attack.

"I should have told you, I'm quite decent at various Martial Arts. That was a move that requires you to relax your body completely, and take a direct hit. It's quite good for surprising people" Natsu said as he looked down on Gabriel. "My powers are that of my body, I can increase my strength, stamina, speed and durability above the normal human limits" he said with a smile.

"It was a good try though, I'll give you that much." He took a real stance, waiting for Gabriel to get back on his feet. He's definitely not bad for his level, though I can't help but wonder what his real abilities are. I doubt a punch like that is all he has... he thought to himself. "If I hadn't activated my own power..." he said and widened his eyes to let Gabriel truly notice that they were glowing, hoping he'd understand that he needed to pay close attention to small details "...I might have been the one on the ground right now" he finished with a grin.

"Not fair... thats a hard thing to notice" as he saw Natsu eyes glowing with a blue light color while he stood up "but we're not doing fair are we? so i might just show you my true colors too" he said before jumping backward and started to concentrate his reiatsu, condensing it as a pure blackish aura turned more visible enveloping his body, while he raised up his left fist to his head height over his right shoulder and lowered his right fist to his waist height as he said "Aero Black" and stood there waiting.

"Haha, I like your style mate" Natsu said with a grin. Gathering energy around his body like that... is it an attack? Or is it defensive? Maybe both? he thought to himself. He started concidering to activate one of his techniques, but decided against it at first. I want to see what this leads to first. I'll start gathering energy for Velocidad just in case... he continued in his head as he started focusing his Reiatsu more towards his legs.

"Now, for the next lesson!" he quickly said as he started to move closer to Gabriel. "When against a fast oponent, you rush in quick and close off their moves!" he yelled, to make sure Gabriel listened carefully, as he moved closer towards him.

"Or..." he said as the black energy stopped to gather around him and Natsu moved toward Gabriel "...you just need to move faster, like... in a blink of eye" ...time to show you what i can do... he continued before disappearing leaving behind a greyish silhouette of him made out of dust and appearing right behind Natsu, trying to knock him down by giving a low spinning kick to hit his legs.

Surprised by the sudden move, Natsu only barely registered the attack to his legs, but instinctively made a small sideways jump, almost perfectly following the motion of Gabriels kick. He stopped the jump by landing on his palms, quickly spinning to give a kick to Gabriels chest. "The focus of most Chinese Martial Arts is the lower body" he said as his kick moved towards Gabriels chest. I'll be saving my Velocidad a little longer... this guy has some interesting moves he thought, smiling in joy of there being people with such abilities among the living souls.

Damn, is it impossible to caught him of his guard... he thought just before Natsu's kick reached and hit his chest, and he tried to hold on his leg with his two arms and bring him down to the ground, while he just threw his body to the left. Even with his Aero Black he felt that his kick had done some serious damage.

Feeling Gabriel trying to pull his leg down, Natsu quickly changed the direction his leg was going, turning it into an axe kick from a very awkward position. "Good, good! You almost got me with your kick, and you reacted quickly to my counter! As a reward, if you let go of my leg on your own, I'll show you something interesting" Natsu yelled with a smile as his leg moved down rapidly. It'll be a good experience for him to see my Velocidad, he'll need to use all his senses much more that way. If he keeps this up, he'll easily prove a valuable member of the Superhumans soon enough he thought to himself, his eyes showing great joy.

That Natsu was really a weird and strong guy in the end. He hoped to put an end to that fight as fast as possible, cause he knew that if his protective aura ran out, he would have serious problems dealing with that Overseer attacks, even so he let go of his leg and stood up taking his fighting position again.

"Hate this... when my curiosity takes over me, so show me what you got there" he said while looking to the Overseer in front of him

"Don't regret this now" Natsu said as he got on his feet. He closed his eyes for a short moment, focusing most of his Reiatsu into his legs, feet and eyes. I'll use less power for these attacks, he seems like he's getting tired. Then again, he's probably not used to fighting higher level oponents.. he thought to himself before clearly saying out loud "Velocidad!"

He moved at his full speed towards Gabriel, moving at a speed almost comparable to Shunpo. He charged ahead, stopping mere inches before Gabriel, only to run back again, then forward one more time, this time going behind his back and tried to push him from behind. By just pushing, I should be able to use almost full speed without doing real damage to him he thought as his arms came closer to Gabriels back.

Gabriel got lost as he tried to hit Natsu that approached him and then dodged his fist going past Gabriel. As he got pushed he went forward with his body to the ground, putting his both hands on the floor and performing a front handspring before turning back to the overseer.

"Whats that? your moves are better but your strength just dropped. Don't go easy..." he said while raising his right hand, that started to concentrate more energy around his fist "...after all my rank doesn't mean so much, its just a easy way to disappear among the whole crowd" and then he fired a burst of dark spiritual energy from his hand at Natsu.

Interesting move he's got there... It seems quite powerful, but the speed could be greater... Natsu thought to himself as he slided to the left before moving a little closer to Gabriel, letting his foot dig a bit into the ground and kicking up some dirt, making if fly towards Gabriels head. Let's see how he handles this, shall we?

Immediately after sending the dirt flying, Natsu got closer, spun on his heels and went for a reverse elbow towards Gabriels head. "Haha it's true, rank and power are not the same. However, the difference between peoples strength is also something that is constantly changing!" he said. Now follow the sound and try to block the elbow he thought, he hoped the other Superhuman had learned his lesson from when Natsu revealed his Cuerpos activation.

Again with a really fast movement, the overseer approached him kicking some sand in his eyes. He knew he would be hit if didn't managed to came up with something fast, instinctively he used his ash grey ability to teleport to anywhere around just before Natsu reached him.

I've totally forgot about his speed... i shouldn't have wasted that energy shooting like that... should i use... no, maybe later. I think i might still be able to keep up with him... at least i think...
He appeared some meters away from there, leaning and hiding his self behind some trees as he cleaned the sand from his eyes, while the dense black aura that enveloped him started to fade away, returning to be just a light and thin blackish aura around him.

As Natsus attack went through the image of Gabriel, he stopped his movement and turned off his Velocidad. Now, I wonder where he could be. It's probably for the best to save my energy for now, especially if he needs to catch his breath. After all this isn't supposed to be a battle, but training he though to himself. He started walking around in a circle, waiting for Gabriel to show up again. "So, how do you like the practice so far?" he asked, while not knowing where his oponent was. I wonder how much he trains usually... and what kind of training he does. It must be difficult to train such abilities without a sparring partner...

"Pretty well..." he answered back to Natsu as he could see again without all that sand. He stood up and took some steps to the right, walking out from behind the tree "...lets just try again. Steel Dark" he said and took a deep breath before taking his fighting stance again. This time his aura started to flow fast, running around his body while waiting for the overseer.

"I'm glad to hear that" Natsu said as Gabriel came into his sight. That move seems somewhat different than the last one... I think I'll keep my distance this time he thought to himself. He found a few small rocks on the ground, first kicking them up one by one untill they reached about his waist, then quickly kicking them towards Gabriel, aiming for various points of his body - one towards the head, some towards his shoulders and elbow joints, and some towards his knees. I wonder what you'll show me next mate he said in his mind as the rocks moved towards the other Superhuman.

Gabriel turned stepping forward, raising and bringing his right hand like he was punching the air, making a small black vortex appear in front of it, protecting him while absorbing the rocks that we're aiming his upper parts. He fell on his knees just as the rocks stroked it.

"even if its exhaustive like this, its a good training. Let me thank you..." saying that another vortex appear just right behind Natsu, releasing back the rocks with the same speed and power they entered it.

Noticing that many of the rocks he had kicked towards Gabriel disappeared right in front of him, Natsu quickly tightened his entire body, entering the sanchin stance of Karate, protecting the groin and kidneys particularly well. It was a move made for defense, but could quicly be used to throw a punch with full force if need be, though that required the oponent to get closer.

He was hit hard by the rocks, but thanks to his stance he didn't fall over. They still bloody hurt though he thought to himself, but he smiled hearing Gabriels reply. "I'm glad you're enjoying it mate!" he said before taking in a deep breath and closing his eyes for a moment. He needed to concentrate, even if he could just activate Dominio to end the fight. He wanted the other Superhuman to do his best, and it looked like he wasn't ready to give up yet. Pretty good move, even though it'd be useless if he can't react to the move before he gets hit he thought as he opened his eyes again.

...i don't know if i can keep up anymore without any protection from his attacks... for sure theres some dangerous people among the overseers.... he thought while trying to stand up again.
"Lets end this, come on" he said before start running toward Natsu aiming his right fist on his face, trying to ignore the pain in his legs.

"You're not giving up on me, are you Gabriel?" Natsu asked as he changed his stance so his arms were relaxed before quickly stepping in closer to Gabriel before his punch reached full speed, then quickly stepped slightly to the side, used his right arm to push Gabriels fist away, grabbed his wrist, moved his left arm towards Gabriels throat, going for a throw.

"Don't ever go into a fight thinking you're about to lose!" he yelled. It's not a matter of how powerful you are, it's the strength of your conviction, damn it... I hope he understands this... he thought to himself.
