When you see one of these, follow whatever it says. I rarely will use these unless it is some major thing that I don't trust you guys to read if I just make it a regular announcement.

And I won't leave them up for that long since the icon is freaking huge (so everyone will actually pay attention to its existence) so if someone comes on after it has been removed, kindly inform them about whatever it said.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I always read every announcement. But it's not bad idea with globals cause then there's a higher chance of people reading them.
