On The Prowl

Well, this was where the reports came from, wasn't it? The Captain of the Eleventh groaned. Supposedly there was some kind of gathering of Hollows outside of the gates to Rukongai. Not only that, but it was supposed to be a fairly big one. One that called for the attention of the Eleventh to stamp them out first.

...Well, where the hell were they? Machizumo came for action, damnit. Not any false reports. He 'tsk'd and began to walk away from the scene. He'd have to take up a complaint with the Fifth Division about their scouts when he returned. Well, whatever. Maybe he'd hit up Zafaron for a drink if the Sotaichou was free.

Kuketsu knew about the Hollow report and decided to investigate the area. On his way there, he saw Machizumo on his way back looking disappointed. So he asked him about the current Hollow situation. " I see. So there hasn't been any Hollow sitings at all huh? Well, don't be too impatient. Please wait a little longer. I'm sure that they'll show up eventually."

Kuketsu gave Machizumo a sympathetic, reassuring smile. "I'm sure that the Fifth Division didn't make a mistake. It is highly unlikely for that to happen so don't give up yet. Just be a little more patient." Suddenly a massive reiatsu filled the atmosphere sending a terrifying chill down Kuketsu's spine. He calmed himself and frantically looked around in an attempt to find the source of the reiatsu.

Lily was listening in on the two captains talking about the Hollow sitings, and decided that now was the time to strike. Thinking that defeating these two would increase her power a great amount, she quickly drew her blade, and used the element of suprise to her advantage- She rushed the two captains, and attempted to gain a quick couple of sword blows in against her targets before anything else could happen.

Naraga stood in the shadows watching the arrancar that was his prey. This arrancar is so focused on those captains. This should be easy. Naraga was suddenly watching in horror as his target charged the captains head on. Thinking fast Naraga sprinted from his hiding spot to intervene between his enemy and her prizes.Naraga quickly stabbed at the Arrancar with his sealed zanpakuto.Fool.

"Excuse me, but who're you calling- You know what, no time for that. There's two of us, and two of them. I don't wanna get my ass handed to me, and neither do you, I'm betting." Lily said as she blocked the stab. She couldn't believe this guy had just stepped in like that! "You WILL pay for this later, rest assured.."" She thought, scowling at Naraga.

Naraga stood slightly surprised by the arrancar blocking his attack. She's not observant, but very fast. After hearing her proposal, Naraga made his choice: Fine, but I'm not gonna kill them unless I have to and once this is over... I'll kill you! Show them fear, Kumori! With that the shikai form of his zanpakuto unleashed it's power and Naraga stood in his battle stance with an unsteady alliance with his races opposite.

Machizumo quickly spun around as not one, but two reiatsus hit his senses. At first, one attacked the other. He surveyed them quickly while they did so. An arrancar and... what was that other guy called? A mix of a Shinigami and a Hollow. Bah, he could never remember the name for them. Hell, it looked like they were teaming up now.

The Captain of the Eleventh grinned, drawing his Zanpakuto as he did so. However, he quite noticeably didn't bother with a release and turning it into a Shikai. Perhaps he was underestimating them. Either way, a small chuckle escaped his lips. "Say, Kuketsu. Been awhile since we both fought together hasn't it?" He turned to the slide slightly, keeping his eyes on his enemies.

He then lifted his Zanpakuto and pointed it at... "I'll take the one on the right," the Arrancar.

Kuketsu grinned. "Yes it has been awhile since we last fought together. I guess I'll take on the other guy then." Kuketsu's eyes darkened, his grin disappeared. He became completely serious. "I feel that my opponent is much stronger than the arrancar, but that is fine with me. I don't care how powerful you are, you will not beat me."

Kuketsu unsheathed his zanpakuto and held it in front of him, the blade pointing to his left. "Bind, Shoutenshi!" A bright light engulf Kuketsu as his sword released. When the light faded, he began charging his light circle attack. The blade of Kuketsu's zanpakuto began to shine as he stabbed it into the ground. Then he pointed his palm to Naraga. "Hado 32, Okasen." A wide, yellow blast was shot at him.

Lily, now feeling a bit braver now that she had her alliance forged, lept away from Naraga, and charged straight for Machizumo.

Thinking she could end this quickly, she stopped a couple of feet in front of her opponent, and swung with her katana for his midsection. She thought as she attacked, "OK, this looks bad. Sure, that other guy says he'll help me out, but he tried to stab me, so I can't FULLY trust him.." She thought. She was a little bite scared, but that wasn't going to stop her from fighting her hardest.

Naraga smiled his signature evil grin before quickly jumping out of the way of the powerful kido. I've always hated kido, it's not an honorable style of fighting compared to the clash of a warriors blade. At that instant, Naraga shot one of the blades from Kumori in hopes of catching the captain off guard by his range. My zanpakuto may look like a close combat weapon but then again it's a very deceptive zanpakuto, hehehe.

Kuketsu's eyes widened. He can fire his zanpakuto's blade from his gloves!? Very interesting.

As soon as Naraga fired his zanpakuto, Kuketsu finished charging his light circle, but didn't release it. Instead, he grabbed his zanpakuto while keeping his attack stored in it and blocked Naraga's attack, sending his zanpakuto flying to Kuketsu's right. Then he pointed his left hand at Naraga and proclaimed "Bakudo 61, Rikujokoro." which binded him. Kuketsu then used shunpo to swiftly move behind the binded Naraga, held his zanpakuto above his head and swung down, attempting to slash his left shoulder.

Damn! Another Kido! Okay, looks like you got me. All of a sudden Naraga's second zanpakuto blade shot from his left hand and entangled Kuketsu negating him from finishing Naraga. Let's make this fair again. hehehe... Once more his right blade retracted back slicing Kuketsu's left shoulder. I'd like to see how well he fights with one arm...
