Breaking in the West (Hezro v Fukki)

(last action done before fuast and erika's arrival)

Hezro saw the approaching shinigami through the corner of his eye. He scanned the shinigami's body noting his physique as well as muscle tone and gauged his overall physical strength as opposed to his speed. The man wore a white robe, immediately Hezro thought of a Captain. They wore white just like the Espada, how interesting. his kido was no surprise either, it was quite common for a shinigami to attack with a kido first and work his way up slowly to his shikai or bankai. it was very rare for one to skip directly to bankai. Hezro walked off the gatekeepers body, form his torso to his feet. He turned to his hollow army, halfway as to keep the captain in sight. "Whoever shall keep that gate open the longest shall reclaim their face." Hezro said to the faceless hollows in a voice only they could hear. they were now fighting one another of time holding up the gate as their individuality was their only freedom in life.

Hezro calculated the mans statistics in his head. Captain level meant he was powerful, he was apparently faster than he was strong given the tone of his body in comparison to his muscle mass. He shot a level 4 kido to begin with means he is somewhat cocky of his ability based on what he said to the hollows. Hezro already knew much about him before the battle even began. He needed to know more though before he started to attack, but he groaned over this. He had to speak loudly for the wretch to hear him. Hezro used sonido to appear approximately ten feet from the man, watching how he walked and how he wielded his blade in his hand in a resting position. "interesting." he thought to himself.

"You must be a shinigami captain correct? I believe it to be customary in your race to exchange name and rank before a fight. My name is Hezro, i have no last name to my remembrance and only go by such. I am the current Trecero espada of the arrancar's." He said in a voice loud enough for him to be made very clearly. He hated speaking, but it was worth getting to analyze his enemy for ten more seconds.

He observed waiting as the Espada ordered something to the hollows. His enemy didn't look that strong but to rely only on its appearance would be a stupid thing against this kind of enemy, when the Espada approached him using a similar technique to shumpo he was ready to move but stood still as he noticed his enemy wanted to talk at least on that moment.

"Tercero Espada..." he slowly repeated as he heard it from Hezro, before taking a more relaxed position resting his sword over his right shoulder as it also was one of his usual fight positions "Great then it means we're alike, what might not be a good thing in the end, i'm Fukki Kurayami the 3rd division captain, but enough of this talking agreed?" he knew that against unknown enemies like that it would be fatal to think low of them or of their abilities.

Hezro tired analyzing everything about the man while he spoke. Trying to get a fit on his opponent. He figured he wasn't one to rely on strength, his slim body seconded the thought. He noticed the man's new stance; tense yet relaxed, ready to fight from it if given the chance. This told Hezro he had many ways to fight and he wasn't one to force the opponent into something he was familiar with, he lived on chance. Hezro unsheathed his blade slowly and rested it down to his side, pointing the man.

"Agreed." Was all Hezro said before he disappeared in sonido about a half second after the words left his mouth. He appeared three feet away from Fukki, his blade high coming down on him. Hezro was calculating the mans actions while he attacked, as such Hezro wasn't fighting at full power yet. Hezro's attack was about 75% of his average strike, high enough for the man not to release he wasn't going all out. He wanted to leave the impression that he was.

He could already tell that this man wasn't a blood-lust attacker, if he was he had already tried attacking him instead of talking with him for a brief moment. Either that or he was just honorable. another variable to consider. The fight was much to early to draw any conclusions but Hezro had multiple scenarios already coursing through his head.

With no time to think as the espada suddenly appeared in front of him Fukki raised his sword horizontally in front of him, strongly holding the hilt with his right hand as his left hand supported the zampakuto holding on its blade before the tip, been pushed some meters behind by the strong impact while blocking and holding the incoming attack from the Espada as Hezro slashed his sword down on him. He knew that if it was supposedly to be like that then he would have to call his shikai sooner than he expected.

(will continue whenever fukki is ready. Being an IC fight, i don't want to continue with him being rushed into a post.)

Hezro saw that the man wasn't expecting such a forward attack. Hezro calculated his reaction time to about 1/2 a second. The man was pretty fast. of course the man blocked high, trying to avoid the blade from slicing into his head of shoulders. Hezro was glad and somewhat disappointed that the man left himself open again. Hezro knew the importance of being on the offensive, which was needed if one ever wanted chance for victory. Now Hezro wanted to take a more theatrical approach. He didn't want the shinigami to pin point his style just yet.

The block left the mans entire midsection wide open for Hezro's next move. Without releasing his weight from his sword, making sure the shinigami was still in a deadlock with him, he jumped up slightly and kicked fukki in the stomach with both feet very forcefully. This propelled Hezro away from him, about five feet to be exact. Hezro rolled himself in mid air and upon landing on his feet he shoot a bala at the man. Hezro wondered how fast the man could recover from the kick before being hit by the bala. This was also another test of reaction time as well as endurance. So far the captain was lacking in Hezro's hypothesis about the mans attributes. The legendary Captains were not as powerful as they seemed, but Hezro was not about to come to that conclusion so soon, as he hadn't even seen the mans shikai yet. He knew that Captains were known for their bankai, so Hezro wouldn't adjust to the mans weakness until he see's the mans bankai, and analyzes it.

Still wondering how strong the espada were while in the blade lock with Hezro he couldn't imagine a move like that coming from Hezro, as he jumped and kicked Fukki on his the stomach pushing him away, but not knocking him on the floor, what helped him to notice in time the incoming bala and use his shumpo moving in zig zag, avoiding it and going for Hezro midsection slashing his zampakuto from right to left as he appeared next to him. The espada was strong that was a fact, but he didn't know if he was also faster than him, if he was than Fukki already knew that he would have to change his way to fight that enemy.

Hezro made a quick check to the mans speed as he evaded the bala. 1/3 of a second was his new time while he was aware of being attacked. He also thought that Hezro would only demonstrate swordsmanship during the fight, a critical error, one that Hezro wouldn't bring up again until later. He wanted the man to forget about both the bala and the kick. Os now it was time to bring out swordsmanship once again. He watched the man move trying hard to determine his attack point.

As fukki reached his side, Hezro brought his blade around to block vertically,turning his whole body to meet Fukki. The Distance between the to was short, so as fukki's blade traveled across Hezro's, the blade tip sank into his clothing and to his heirro. Luckily the angle of the blade wasn't deep enough to fully break it, but it still did some damage, leaving it extremely weakened on that area of his body. As soon as Fukki's blade passed Hezro's body, Hezro swung his blade down fukki's now exposed right side, aiming for the collar bone down to his pelvis bone.

With a fast movement turning his wrist and bending his arm back to him after slashing his zampakuto on the espada, Fukki managed to block the incoming attack and went into another blade lock against the enemy, but his position wasn't very favorable to him with all that strength pushing his arm. He let go of his zampakuto, which fell on the floor, as he jumped back at the same time that Hezro blade made its way down on his right shoulder, opening a wound from it to his chest while he brought his two hands together pointing at him and shouting "Hado #33 Soukatsui" fastly charging an blue energy blast on his palm and shooting it like a thunder on the espada so he could at least gain some time by pushing him away even it didn't really damaged him at all.

Hezro watched the shinigami block his attack in an awkward position. Hezro grinned at this as he learned the man would sacrifice form to avoid injury, he was scared of defeat. He watched the man drop his own blade to jump out of the way. Hezro was thrilled by this. He reached out to grab the hilt of Fukki's kodaichi just as he was charging his kido. As he saw it coming Hezro brought both forarms together, blocking his face from the attack. He kido destroyed his hierro in his arms, leaving his skin slightly burned as the heirro absorbed most of the strike. But in the end Hezro came out ontop. He now held his opponents blade in his hands. Hezro wondered if the man could activate shikai if he wasn't holding onto the blade. Hezro didn't think he could, as Espada had to be holding their blades to do so and figured the shinigami were the same way. He smiled as he sonidoed toward Fukki, now unarmed, slashing downwards with both blades, looking to bite into the mans shoulders again. It was odd carrying fukki's blade, it was light so it wasn't to hard to wield but at the same time, Hezro's left hand wasn't used to holding the blade. He knew that fukki had to resort to kido now, so Hezro was preparing for it mentally.

The cut on his right side wasn't a serious one, but it would make the things against the espada even more complicated. Fukki stood still waiting for the espada, who now was also holding and using his zampakuto to attack him. About a second as the espada used his sonido to strike him, Fukki opened his right hand and with its palm pointing to the ground he shot a red burst of energy on it, moving a few steps to his right while making smoke and debris take place around him and the espada. He would try to avoid Hezro sword and grab his zampakuto back with his left hand while moving to his right, hezro left side, and elbowing Hezro forearm with his right arm, opening the cut on chest a little more as he fastly moved his right arm to hit Hezro.

(ooc: using ur right hand doesn't make any sense fukki,if u come across my left side you right arm is away from me. plus ur using ur left hand to reach for your blade in MY left hand so your arms would look like this "X". Your right hand wouldn't even be close to reaching me in this position yet alone ur elbow. I'll let you change it before continuing.)

is it safe to say i win this fight so i can help the other espada? i haven't seen fukii on ever since his last post.
