The room in which Seiji slept was dark. There was no light other than the numbers shown on the digital clock, which read five fifty nine AM. The numbers shown on the clock changed the six hundred and the alarm sounded waking the good doctor. He slowly opened his eyes and glared at the clock. Seiji rarely got to sleep due to his double life. By day he was an average doctor working in the karakura town hospital, but by night he was a Demon slayer. He enjoyed what sleep he managed to get, which was around three hours every couple of days. His fellow doctors would implore him to take a vacation, however his conscience wouldn't allow him to stop hunting the hollows that kill people each day. A day off would mean a life lost to one of those fowl demons.
Seiji lifted his arm from the rest of the arm chair he was sleeping on and extended it to the clock, shutting off the highly annoying alarm. He stood up from the chair in the dark room and reached for a glass rod, and began to turn it, opening the blinds allowing some light to enter the office which was his own. He yawned as he ran his hand through his unkempt hair, making himself seem a little more presentable. He walked towards the door of his office, grabbing a white coat from the coat rack four feet from the door. He put the coat on and opened the door exiting the office in which he slept and began to walk down the halls of the hospital.
He was making his way to the hospital cafeteria to get his usual black coffee when he heard the howl of a hollow. The howl was quite loud so Seiji could tell it was nearby. He quickly ran down the hall passing through a door which led to a stairway. He noted that there were no others present in the stairway so it was safe to hop over the rail and use Hirenkyaku to quickly move to the top floor. He didn't want anyone in the hospital to know about his abilities because it would just make things kind of awkward. He grabbed the rail in front of him and pulled himself back over the rail on to the stairs which led to the roof. He ran through the door that led to the roof and looked out over the city and in the distance he saw it.
The humanoid hollow stood at about twenty seven feet, with his arms reaching all the way to the ground. It had a slouched posture and a tail almost as long as it was tall. Its mask appeared to be quite human like, however it had enlarged canines on the top and on the bottom, while its other teeth were squared. This Hollow was one of the less grotesque Hollows Seiji has seen in his lifetime. In fact he was quite relieved to see that it had a very normal shape and didn't have a bunch of limbs that he had to look out for. He actually enjoyed fighting these kinds of Hollow because they were a lot easier to handle. Though he didn't want to underestimate the beast he couldn't hep but think little of it for being anything less than a Menos.
Seiji extended his left hand and utters the name, "Shugotenshi." With that he forms his bow. His left arm glows brightly, catching the attention of the Hollow. The light which caused this glow was in fact spirit particles being compressed, forming armor encasing his entire arm. A small funnel behind his shoulder began to draw spirit particles, causing the symbols on his armor to glow and soon after his bow began to form. It was about three and a half feet in length and was made from the same metallic substance as his armor, however it appeared to be slightly darker. He aimed his bow at the hollow and without even drawing the string with his right hand, he fired three small arrows at the Hollow from the rooftop. The arrows struck the hollow causing it to moan in pain. Seiji had managed to catch the hollows full attention, and it began to charge directly towards him. "Just a little closer." Seiji said as his right hand moved up and with his middle and index finger he gripped the string of his bow and drew it back. His bow flared out with blue energy, forming wing shapes on both ends of his bow. The hollow continued its rampage towards Seiji, and as it took flight an arrow began to form in Seiji's bow. The Hollow was nearly face to face with Seiji before he released his arrow, firing in to the Hollows open mouth tearing through the Hollows insides coming out the lower part of the hollows slouched back. The hollow disintegrated before Seiji, and he lowered his bow sealing it in his wrist band once more. Seiji ran his hand through his hair once more and turned around and began to make his way back to the door from whence he came.
