Yeah, get this: The shop claims they couldn't contact me since the 11th this month! The hell?! I gave them my home number, my cell phones number (which is still semi-reliable, even though it's bloody old), AND just in case my cell decided to go pissy, I gave 'em mums cell phone number as well... and she's been accepting every call she's gotten ever since I turned the damn laptop in!

Aaaaanyway... they couldn't figure out the problem. No... seriously. They couldn't figure out why the hell it crashed, or why it wouldn't turn on. They replaced the harddisk (which means a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of lost files), and updated the BIOs. Which is just swell... I guess. I'm just glad I've got it back. And, since they couldn't find out what the hell was wrong with it (meaning it's pretty much impossible that I could've damaged it in such a way), I didn't have to pay jack sheit. Now I'll just have to install things for a while, run some programs, get rid of Norton Anti-Virus ASAP, and slowly work towards getting as many files as possible back - and of course, now I can be active here again. As long as this friggen thing doesn't crash too -.-
