During his time alive he was a very calm and careful person even though being a hitman, Sokkin\'s love for guns helped his kills so successful. He also loves to made small smartass remarks to try and annoy or frustrate his hits or targets. Sokkin\'s enjoyment of anything that goes fast is why he became a hitman, being able to take out a target within a few seconds is what he enjoyed most about it. Sokkin enjoyed a tough challenge like taking out an entire mob without a scratch.
After death Sokkin\'s tone totally changed. He has constant mood swings from happy to angry and frustrated. Sokkin now spends most of his time either doing paperwork or at the local pub drinking until he drops. After becoming a Captain he then struggled to find time to train which made him fall in skill and training. When he trains he is usually helping out another member of his squad because Sokkin wants them to improve to the point that they are as strong and powerful as him.
Fighting Style:
Sokkin uses mostly uses ranged attacks and kido when he doesn\'t use his Zanpakutou. He rarely uses his Shikai and Bankai because he focuses on his Kido skills to help him through battles. Sokkin also likes to test with people but not as intense as Aizen.
Background:
On Earth, Sokkin was a hit man. He had to feed his family who were struggling to earn enough money to even buy food. He did show remorse for his killings but he still continued to do it, because of Sokkin\'s successful hits more and more people hired him and it just got too much for Sokkin. His methods of killing are much different to most people; he used a poison which burned out the intestines of the person he had to kill. Sokkin decided to quit being a hit man once he was able to gain a normal job but the people who hired him didn\'t like it and thought that he would tell the police that Sokkin was hired by them. Sokkin\'s family was kidnapped several days later and was killed; Sokkin was all alone and didn\'t know what else to do. He decided to try and take on the men who killed his family. One by one Sokkin killed them until there was only one left. Ryo was a very wealthy man who had plenty of protection but it didn\'t stop Sokkin. It just got to Ryo and Sokkin, but he wasn\'t lucky enough, Ryo had shot Sokkin in the chest before he could shoot Ryo.
Upon becoming a soul he wondered for a long time searching for his family. Many loud roars from hollows scared Sokkin and were nearly killed by a few. A Menos Hollow began to attack Sokkin, but luckily a Shinigami saved Sokkin and killed the Menos nearly dying himself. Sokkin didn\'t know what to think about this he was still in shock but began to run away. But the Shinigami wanted to send him to soul society but Sokkin tried so hard to not be captured. The Shinigami stopped Sokkin and had a long conversation about what has happened and where he is going. Sokkin accepted his death and asked the Shinigami to send him to soul society.
After Sokkin became a Shinigami he began training to gain his Zanpakutou. After many years training to gain his Zanpakutou he failed. He then met the Captain of Squad 5 at the time. He showed Sokkin the best way to gain his Zanpakutou and it worked. Sokkin gained his sword and also learned several kido spells from the Squad 5 Captain. The Captain then invited Sokkin to join the squad but unseated. Sokkin kindly agreed and learned a lot from the great Captain. Learning many Kido spells and training his sword mastery, Sokkin felt he was missing something out from when he was on earth. It was a gun, what he used when he was a hit man.
Once Sokkin gained his Shikai he was amazed of what it was, an umbrella. Sokkin also felt that it was very lame when he first released his Shikai. But what Sokkin didn\'t know that it was actually a gun that shot large reiatsu bullets out of the top of the umbrella. The Captain was amazed of how fast Sokkin had gained his Shikai and promoted him to 5th seat. Sokkin then celebrated instantly after and gained a new love in his life, alcohol. The new love of alcohol slowed down Sokkin\'s training and made him push further and further away from gaining his Bankai.
Sokkin finally gained his Bankai which Sokkin didn\'t show anyone else but his Captain. But a freak accident with the strongest of the Arrancar caused Sokkin\'s Captain to die. Sokkin now being promoted to Lieutenant several years before his Captains death he was granted to Captain Status as the Commander Captain could sense a Bankai but didn\'t tell any of the other Gotei 13 about it. Sokkin now focuses on what his old Captain wanted, to train the other as much as he could be making them also into great Shinigami.
