Appearance: Osen is roughly 5'6 with light-purple hair covering most of his face; his mouth still visible. His frame is small and thin, with his sleeveless shinigami garb hanging on him loosely, secured by a thin white rope around his waist. Despite this, he has some muscle mass (Though not a lot) from the activity he receives as a shinigami.
Personality: Osen tends to be a laid back shinigami who isn't very social. The most conversation you'll get out of him naturally is on the battlefield. He tends to spend a good amount of time either testing his body through training, his mind through shogi (chess), or his spirit through a light meditation with some reading material.
Fighting Style: Osen's style is graceful slashes, for in sword fighting, he sees true beauty. Despite this, he knows when it is time to speed up, something he is thoroughly capable of. Even though he has ranged attacks, he perfers close range and always tries to keep in close contact. He is considering learning kido to add his ranged attacks.
Background: Osen was born in a rural area in Japan. At a young age, while exploring in the forest, he was attacked by a wolf . Despite his strongest efforts, he was not strong enough to survive. When he first awoke, there was a chain in his chest connecting him to his home. However, his parents could not see nor hear him, no matter how he tried to gain their attention. It was days later that a hollow roamed into the area. With one hit, it had knocked him yards away and broke his chain. He attempted to run, but due to his fear, he tripped. Just when he feared his days may be done, a shinigami came and slayed the rogue spirit. He then proceded to perform the konso on Osen. Lucky for Osen, he was reborn in one of the tamer parts of the rukongai (21). While district 21 of the North Rukongai would serve as his home, this did not stop Osen from roaming around the areas nearby, though being careful not to stray to far from home. Over the years, his interest in shinigami was peaked by stories and the sight of them patrolling the districts. He then decided to attend the six year shinigami academy. After graduation, he joined the sixth division. Sometime after, he would occasionally hear a name while meditating, though he would ignore it. It was not until a sparring match that he, without thinking about it, spoke his zanpakuto's name, acheiving shikai. From there he would continue training to become even stronger, which would eventually mark his ascencion to lieutenant of squad 6.
