Appearance: Syn stands at a height of 5"5 and weighs 140 pounds. He has a slim yet muscular build which doesn't surprise people when they hear that he's a hand to hand specialist. He has short black hair with short bangs lining his forehead except for one long one which covers his right eye most of the time. His hair is usually unkempt, giving him the appearance of a man that doesn't get his much needed sleep.
He has gray eyes that sparkle in the light with a silver iris which is slightly lighter than his eye color making him look as if he can't see. Syn smiles a lot and has very exquisite posture. For he always looks as if going to a special meeting or date. He wears the usual Shinigami attire.
Personality: Syn is a very nice person. He's likable and makes friends fairly easily. He's usually seen hanging out with friends. Either that or training. He's rarely seen alone because he doesn't like to be seen as a loner. He also helps his friends a lot. But when he does he has a little fun with it. Coming at the last second for dramatic effect.
Syn also loves to hang out with his friends. When he is not training he is usually seen with a friend or else sleeping. He always trains hard, but seems to find the time for his friends also. For as he likes to call it he has a "Balanced Schedule". He also has a lot of pride and when his pride is at stake he will do everything in his power to get it back. He also doesn't like to show if he's tired or not. If he just got done training and he's asked to hang out with a friend, he won't admit that he's tired. But the moment he gets home he'll be knocked out like a bear in hibernation.
Fighting Style: Speed and well combinations of his attacks that lead into something bigger.
Background: Even as a human, Syn was a great fighter. He was a 3rd degree black belt at the age of 15 and never backed down from a fight. He was also a pretty smart student. Math was his best subject so he was good at calculating things before acting. One day after he came home from school this man came from his car telling Syn to get in without a word.
The man didn't like to be told no and tried using force. He lost the fight against Syn and that was when his companions came out of the car. He had assumed his stance and was ready for a fight when someone Syn hadn't noticed come out of the backseat grabbed him from behind and he was beat up. Left there to rot, he was bleeding badly and losing a lot of blood when a lady screamed and called for an ambulance. He was hurried to the ER and after a while his parents were told that they did everything they could do.
His skull was cracked badly open and he only had a few hours to live. So his parents stayed in his room for the rest of his remaining life until finally he died.
New Life
The next thing Syn knew was that he had awoken in a very dusty place with no memory of anything. He decided to look around and walked onto a world of which he never would've believed real unless he saw it himself. He applied for the Shinigami academy and was really talented at Hand to Hand and Shunpou. He never knew why and never really questioned it either. He graduated with top marks in his class and always hoped to be in the 2nd squad because he had always liked that squad for some reason. Maybe because he had a real knack for hand to hand combat.
After about 10 years he enrolled for squad 2 position and started off as a 5th seat. He had always wanted to be a captain, so he trained hard, so that he'd be able to achieve that goal. He had asked his captain for some additional help and together they worked really hard, so that Syn could become stronger. After about 10 more years of training Syn had achieved Bankai and went up in the ranks quickly. He is now the Vice-Captain of squad 2 and still working on that Captain status.
