Gunpowder and Thread

Jumping into the air, Akutore landed on top of one of her five pillars, riding it like a drunken cowboy does a mechanical pull (Or the way a high guy rides an inflatable doll, or the way Laharl rides his meteor). With her new vantage point, Akutore directed the pillars even easier toward Levi. As she flew, she formed a kusarigama with her technique, spinning it around rapidly and flinging the bladed end at the other man. If all went according to plan, the blade would pierce his shoulder, and then she could use the tether to increase the speed of her giant rods of doom, making them almost undodgable.

Levi looked up at the intriguing sight above him. If he wasn't fighting with Akutore at the moment, he probably would have had a good laugh at what he was seeing. But he was in danger, and he knew it. He couldn't outrun the kusarigama, with cut into the backside of his shoulder. Grunting from the pain, Levi turned upwards towards Akutore. A second later, two missiles erupted from his cannons, creating convuleted loops and patterns as they sped towards their target.

Recognizing this as Levi's ultimate, Akutore launched into evasive actions. She waited until the missiles curved by her, not giving them the chance to loop back around. As soon as she was clear, Akutore pushed forward with her left hand and pulled back with her right, trying to drag Levi forward by use of the Kusarigama, straight into the pillars. She knew she couldn't outrun the missiles for long, so she did all she could to at least weaken him as well.

Levi's use of his Ultimate, coupled by the significant amount of blood loss he had suffered, had now left him exhausted and vulnerable. Akutore's Kusagirama dug even further into his backside, lurching him forward and into the path of the pillars. I can only hope that those missiles do some damage, Levi thought, watching the missiles as they looped around for another run at Akutore. If they don't...then this battle is already over.

Growling at the incoming missiles once more, Akutore shifted her index finger, sending the pillar that was to be connected to Levi's stump over to the rockets instead. With that buying her some time, Akutore directed the others forward even faster. With the other hand, still holding on to the end of the Kusarigama, Akutore tightened her grip. As she did that, more of those thorn-like protrusions erupted down the length of the weapon. With this, the bladed end embedded in Levi's shoulder would explode outward, those spikes looking to tear his arm clean off.

Levi could feel the pressure building from the blade in his shoulder, and he could guess what might have happened next. As his arm was torn from his body, he gasped and kneeled to the ground. I can't lose my concentration. I have to remain conscious for a little longer...

Meanwhile, the missiles now aimed at Akutore. One of the pillars came out of nowhere and one of the rockets did not have time to dodge, impacting it and resulting in an enormous explosion that rocked the surrounding area. The second missile continued to fly towards its target.

"Oh, shi--!!!" Akutore shouted, jumping off of her main pillar and landing on the ground, still directing the giant towers by the master strings embedded in them. Fully expecting them to miss once more, Akutore swung her right hand in an arc, looking to wrap the spiky whip around his head, seeking an absolute victory. "Damn, those missiles piss me off!"
