Training the Vice

As the kick came at Syn he used his own spiritual energy to somewhat even out the odds. While compressing it so much it was visible, he molded it around his arm and punched the oncoming leg, at the same time getting his foot out of his Captain's grip and also molding energy around his left arm aimed his palm right for his Captain's gut.

Tho a novice counter it was an effective one. Ranryou twisted his body into a backflip. Using the momentum from Syn's counter punch to throw his body into another maneuver. With his open palm headed for his stomach Ranryou had to act fast. He knew the force of the strike wasn't strong enough to deal heavy damage but at the very least he could use it to his advantage.

Without a plan in mind Ranryou wasted on a half second on thought. His body still in the motion of his flip. Syn's hand closing in on his stomach. yet still his arms found a way to form an x. Taking the full force of the strike, and shooting himself airborne. As he reached over 30 feet the Captain would smile once before using an Shunpo to rapid close the distance between himself, and Syn. Once he was directly before him he would bring his left hand in a cross almost like a back handed slap. Yet his right fist would become drilling forward. Using his left hand as a decoy for the more powerful punch.

Syn, not having much time to block all the hits, in stead blocked the decoy. Hoping this would somewhat throw him off balance. Syn took the right fist head on and was thrown across the room. Lying flat on his back, Syn waited for his breath to come back. He then stood up and got into a defensive stance. He wasn't going to lose if he could help it. He would try his best. It didn't matter whether he won or lost because he had an excuse. he was fighting his Captain.

So with his right leg forward and his left leg back in the same angle, he had his right side facing his captain with his left hand in a fist and his right hand's palm facing outwards towards Ranryou.

Making a circle with his legs while preforming a slight spin Ranryou created that said circle. Taking his defensive stance by first opening his palms, and preforming seveal high speed punchs forward. Then leaning back on his base leg, which was furthest back, his right leg, and kicking with his left leg. Then finishing his combo with a hop from his right foot, and a air spin kick with his left. Landing back on the ground, and leaning back on his left leg. his right leg forward at a slight angle, and his hands his fist. His right hand forward, and his leftarm forming a right angle. The inside of his arm facing the outside of his body. Opening his right fist, and smiling Ranryou made amotion with his fingers as to tell Syn to "bring it."

Lurching forwards in a sudden burst of speed, Syn covered the distance between them in a matter of 2 seconds tops. He then covered his whole right foot in Reishi and kicked at Ranryou's head, spinning around, so as not to lose any momentum, he also aimed his left foot at his face in a sort of roundhouse fashion.

Using his forearms Ranryou would block the first kick. Tho the second kick Ranryou didn't see coming. His first kicking having taking his full attention. So with full connection Ranryou found himself sliding back before he fell, and bounced a few times against the ground. All before he came back to his two feet while still sliding. Before he knew it his back was against the wall on the other side of the field.

"Impressive.....Quite impressive indeed Syn. I was a fool to underestimate you. If your going to fight on equal ground with a Vizard then you must be prepared for anything. Hadō #32 Okasen!"

Unleashing a wide yellow arc of energy towards Syn Captain Ranryou still held back. he wasn't trying to kill his Squad members. Tho out of all the Squads the 2nd went through the most, and hardest training. Even the Captain's knew Ranryou not only pushed himself to far, but also expected no less from his Squad. They were a force, and had to be ready. So throwing in a surprise for Syn was nothing to Ranryou. He could handle it.

Syn thought, Shit Kido... As the kido neared him he slid on his knees under the blast using his shunpo to increase the distance. And as he made his way towards the hopefully unsuspecting Captain, Syn saw his outstretched hand still performing the kido and then aimed a right punch towards his stomach.

Smiling as Syn came into veiw Ranryou guessed he would dodge. But if Syn would notice the lips of his Captain moving he could possibly hear the last of the incantation. Maybe even taking notice to the index finger from his right hand tucked under his shoulder pointed directly at him. A dim white light already apparent as it grew brighter. "Wrath of heaven strike from this hand! Hadō #4 Byakurai!" From his index finger a bright white lightning bolt would come forth. Already empowered by the incantation the hado would shot directly for Syn's right hand, which was coming closer, and closer to Ranryou due to his counterattack. The blast would look to disable his right hand, dealing some minor burning damage.

Shit Syn thought as he shunpoed out of the way of the coming strike. It had burned off some skin. "You whore", he then looked at his captain smiling and went into his previous stance closing his eyes and meditating on the spot.

Syn didn't like that now did he.

Ranryou smiled viciously at his Vice, almost mocking him while letting the competition between them grow. He was enjoying him. He normally didn't get to fight a full hand to hand battle with someone. It was fun to cut loose sometimes. But still......

Without warning Ranryou would use his Soundless Shunpo to appear behind Syn. Placing both hands on the ground, and twirling his legs towards his vice. Looking to send him airborne.

Syn couldn't hear him get close, but hiding a reiatsu that large was hard work and he felt his captain coming near. as Ranryou kicked at him Syn spun around the legs right towards where his captains face was and aimed an axe kick straight down. He knew he would get away, but it was worth a try. If it hit him it just might crack something.

As Syn counter Ranryou smiled. The axe kick came with power, and speed as someone from his division should wield. Ranryou had to simply dodge by pushing off the ground with his outstretched arms, twisting his body so the kick fell right in front of his face, missing.

Now having the high ground, ranryou in that same instant already upside down, began his twirl again this time aiming to kick syn in the face as he was still in the process of his axe kick.

Syn back flipped away from the oncoming kick, but made no time for his Captain to react for he flash stepped directly to his side jumping and coming down with his knees towards Ranryou's gut.

(Yea as it's coming I twist my body, and begin a upward swirl. I'm basically watching your foot pass right by my face.)

As Syn counter yet again Ranryou was still in the middle of his upward swirling maneuver, using his rotation Ranryou keep his eyes open. Noticing the Shunpo, and the jump, Within this position Ranryou was in the right spot to end this fight. Using the momentum from his swirl Ranryou would catch Syn by his knees, taking hold of his legs all together, and redirecting his Vice-Captain aiming his face directly for the ground below. The force, and strength behind this attack, would cause great damage to his Vice-Captain, only knocking him out, but also giving him quite the headache when he awoke.

If Ranryou hadn't notice he would now have turned into the upright position, his feet closer to the ground, and his back arched forward, his hands grasping Syn's leg. Only smiling as he fought.

"Gggggrrriiind tto ppieces, Hhidan!" said Syn as he was twirling downwards in a spinning motion. As his normal katana turned into a giant triple bladed, black scythe, Syn produced a shockwave at the last moment before his face could fully hit the floor. Only skimming his face, Syn shot up from the ground with Ranryou and wriggling free of his grip, he shunpoed away, so as not to hit the roof of the room they were in.

(Were in an open training ground. Everything above us is open air.)

Smiling Ranryou only nodded to Syn, and drew his own zanpakuto. not forgetting they were inside the 2nd squad training grounds. To many people around. If things got ugly. he would have to call the training session off.

"Good Syn. Your getting better. Now let's see how you can use that weapon of yours. Bring it."

Syn was already running as his Captain said,"Bring it". He then got about 3 feet away and then grabbing his scythe by the chain, slashed at at Ranryou's head. Purposely missing, he slid on his knees and aimed a kick towards his stomach, at the same time pulling his zanpakuto backwards for an execution.

A nice attack. Ranryou noticed the scythe miss but didn't forget it. he wouldn't underestimate his Vice. Even if this was a very weak attack. To use a slide-kick. he had to be planing something else. So with a quick rotation Ranryou took hold of Syn's leg with his left hand, holding on to his ankle, Syn's foot square in the middle of his stomach. Ranryou being in pain. But not losing focus. Using his right hand with an under-handed Mizuchi positioned to block the scythe. Stopping it cold as it dig slightly into Ranryou's shoulder.

"i really hate scythe's ya know that Syn?"

Syn sent a shock wave at his captain at point blank range, so he couldn't have a way to escape. This attack would do some heavy damage since they were so close. Also at that same moment Syn jerked his ankle from his captain's clutches and shunpoed a mere 5 feet away. it wouldn't be really any problem to cross that distance in about 1 second or less. they were of the 2nd squad for a reason.

Twisting at the wasting, and dropping as the shockwave came Ranryou was able to dodge most of it. Only a slightly amount of blood dripping from his shoulder. With a smile Ranryou only gave Syn a nod. he wasn't playing around it seemed. It even drew blood. Ranryou only smiled before bowing to his Vice-Captain.

"This concludes the Training session Syn. I'm very proud of you. You've gotten much stronger."

Smiling Ranryou turned around, and began making his ways back into the barracks. Several medical attends rushing to him asking if he needed assistance. The Captain denying them as he walked.
