Raftidia 2: The Dawn of the New World”
The sands of time have flown into the future; the tides of battles long fought on the world once ripped apart have died down after the loss of many lives and the great deeds of the Legendary Heroes. When the Gods beckoned the reconstruction of the faithless world, the evil and darkness was called forth to corrupt and destroy it. These actions weren't half met for the Legendary Heroes of old, those intertwined in the conflict between light in shadow stepped forth to restore the balance and rid both heaven and earth of the malicious High Gods. But not all Gods were intending to stand back and watch their children fall into the chaos and of these gods the twin Gods of Light; Leama and Luteous stepped forth, and with the might of the Legendary Heroes at their side they destroyed the dark ones and banished their essence to eternity. In the process they restored the floating lands to the dead core below and by the power of seven of the eight crystals the world was healed.
It has been a single century after the lands were once again united into a single body, and the looming eyes of the highest entity "Ankikyo" have settled upon Raftidia. This entity is known to all as 'Fate' herself. She has become disgusted with mortal life in her never-ending existence and wishes to return everything to where it started. "The Void" With the power over the threads of destiny she weaves the cloth that is the end of Raftidia and Ahven; the land of the Gods. Her divine will has dictated that Ahven and Raftidia shall collide, causing an imbalance in the essence of reality thus wiping the universe clean of everything. But the new Empire knows nothing of this plot, and the only hope of action is all in the hands of a child...
But Fate herself cannot directly jump into the fray, so from the lost souls of beast and man alike she created the "Order of Yajuu" to do her bidding. This coalition of monsters and people have but one goal, to seize and return the 'Gate to Eternity' back to where it belongs and will do so using any means neccesary. If anything gets in their way, they destroy it without a second wit about it. They feel no mercy nor pity for they had lost there way during death, and from Fate brings a new hope for them; A way to eternal rest. Usually ghost like in appearance, and deadly in combat these 'things' are no sport to fight whether it be a beast or a humanoid.
Raftidia is much different then it was a century ago, for the "Dawn of the New World" had run its course. During the process over those long years, one of the Legendary Heroes united all of the kingdoms into an Empire. This was Lord Cormac and under the blessing of Rahf the spirit of Wood, his life had been extended. At his side he has his Empress, his dear love Leama. Over the unification they brought the world into peace and harmony. To mark the dawn of such prosperity, they split the lands into seven providences, each representing the last areas where the seven crystals of the spirits laid to rest. Each providence is under the protection of a band of knights that honor the ways of the old kingdoms. Each has sworn allegiance to the "Heptrian Empire" and loyalties seem to stand strong.

Neo Wayrea: The Wood crystal being the last of them in existence, it sits in a new and refined Wayrea. The name Wayrea was kept to keep the memories of each and every battle and victory alive from the "Days the Dark Ones Descended". In the highest tower of the castle is the empowered Wood Crystal, and around the main castle are shelves of books and records from all around the world. The landscapes are lush with bright green forests and long grassy meadows. To the far north of the castle is a giant mystical tree called Ygdrasil, and is rumored to grown from the last feathery remains of Luteous himself, which would mean it could be connected to Ahven somehow.
Fire: Tourcha ~Crimson Lion Brigade~ A somewhat scorched yet thriving landscape near a volcano named "Mount Rigor" The hot springs attract travelers from all around to rest and relax while the Crimson Lions keep the borders safe from any (unexpected) hostility. All residents here are adepts at Pyre Sorcery and quite a few are volunteer militia.
Water: Tsunovia ~Serpent Dragon Brigade~ A gracious land of the purest waters ever to wet your throat. It is a place of great spirituality and is guarded by some of the most powerful magic casters around. In the center of the providence is a large shrine that was build to bless all who would cast away their impurity. There are rumors of something in Lake Systalana, but nobody can speculate what.
Wind: Fuujai ~Sky Griffon Brigade~ A land that raises slightly from the ground by the power of wind, it's great arches and artistic architecture brings spectators from all around the new world. The wind sorcerers here offer their services to the kingdom as a postal capital, flying mail in an out. By the power of wind magic and with the aid of Shazuk engineers they have created the airborne cousin of the Ethereal craft; Their airships are also used for aerial travel all around the new world. Their is a large mountain in the center of this floating land; Mount Kazewo. It is said this mountain houses a mystical object called "The Shinning Breeze", but as to what it might be is unknown.
Earth: Stockrom ~Forest Wolf Brigade~ Because of the Earth Crystal's blessing over this land, it is rich in minerals ranging from Bronze to Dragonite. It's a large mining area in the middle of a deep mystical forest. The people here are strong willed and somewhat stubborn as well as hard working. The Forest Wolf Brigade guards the wooded boundaries with a keen eye. There is a large cave at the side of its mountain which has been labeled "Gaar's Cavern" because of a howl that seems to erupt from it every full moon.
Light: Novalark ~Shinning Fox Brigade~ A land of lights and bright feelings, the light provides a protective shield over the whole area. This land is the ultimate zone for spiritual enlightenment, for most of its bright landscapes are tranquil and full of energy. In the center there is a shrine that holds a large orb of light called the "Noex Cross" and is the source of power to all of Novalark. The Shinning Fox Brigade is one of the most kind hearted and friendly squads, they tend to think with their heart, then their minds.
Darkness: Ainza ~Silent Panther Brigade~ A land in constant darkness or purple haze, It has been a place of inspiration to musicians from all over the world, because of its multicolored landscapes and its intriguing wild life. Rumors say that in the middle of a silent night a door to the "Endless Maze" may open for the brave hearted, but nobody believes this rumor. The people here are poetic and deep into their feelings. The Silent Panther Brigade is the most mysterious of the seven squads do to their lack of speaking for very long, they tend to be silent and intense.
Electricity: Shazuk ~Pouncing Tiger Brigade~ The world’s main source of energy and advanced weaponry. The Kurchians of old had begun to experiment with electricity and formulate technology. Engineers from Fuujai and Shazuk came up with the "Airship" from the "Ethereal Craft" of old. ---
The energy created in Shazuk is sent through an Ethereal conductor and transferred all around Raftidia. Above this conduit is a giant rip in the sky. It is said that with the "Gate to Eternity" one can bring forth a key from Ahven, but it makes little sense to anybody. People from Shazuk usually have a logical attitude, but never really lose the old Kurchian way of acting which is from one's heart.
Though the Empire is unaware of the danger ahead, within their bounds are seven people chosen by the power of the seven shattered crystals that healed the land a hundred years ago. These people are destined to be the Guardians of the "Gate to Eternity".
These seven know nothing of their destiny to accompany the one who will unlock the keys to the Elements and in turn open the door to Fate and Eternity. They know nothing of the words Rahf spoke to Luteous as he soared away to Eternity about his destined return. Each Guardian has the odd ability to turn themselves into their corresponding creature, and the list goes as such.
Fire ~A blazing Lion of burning pride and immense courage~
Water ~A Serpent Dragon of mystical and mighty magic~
Wind ~ a Griffon that can ride the winds, and control their might~
Earth ~ An immense wolf that can control the earth and send shockwaves through any solid~
Light ~A beautiful fox with many illustrious tails, and the ability to use light as it sees fit~
Darkness ~ An intense and powerful black panther that can summon the strength of the shadows~
Electricity ~An immense tiger flowing with the power of electrity throughout its body~
The ways of old Crystalra have not been forgotten, and in the form of three remaining temples the practices of old are still at large. The temples are located in Tsunovia, Stockrom and Novalark. The main temple is located in Tsunovia where the Arch Priest/Priestess resides, teaching those who are willing in the ways of magic and balance. Under her are the High Priests/Priestess' of Novalark and Stockrom.
Though they prefer the magic related with there attributed location, the teachings are not limited to those with a single elemental talent. Every year the Arch Priestess and her two 'seconds' make a walk to Neo Wayrea for a ceremony to the spirits in which they call upon the knowledge of Rahf from the crystal of wood. It just so happens that time the for the ceremony is at hand.
So as the dust clears from the horizon and the tears of old dry in the face of hope, and a new threat is at hand. The future is in the hands of those destined to guard the Gateway, and bring him to his final destination. This is Raftidia: Dawn of the New World.
