For once, Druid had to drag on a battle. In order to claim the spot of The greatest hand-to-hand user, he had to prove himself. And unfortunately, that meant showing his skill. Normally, Druid liked to finish battles quickly by unleashing his full power, which normally forced his opponent to, and then overwhelming them with his surprising abilities and powerful strikes. Not this time, though. Waiting patiently for his third battle partner (the previous two having been killed nearly instantly with a powerful strike to the throat, naval and temple, the second by a glorious choke hold nearly instantly effectively), he hopped on the balls of his bear feet in a large, stadium-like room.
Finally, he had arrived. Giving him a once over, he grinned. He was nothing. He clearly wasted energy in his movements, and didn't breathe properly. He would most likely get gassed and lose his energy before Druid could even begin his fight. Standing at six foot tall, this guy was huge. He must have been a blacksmith or something in his previous life. He made Tessai look like Ururu. Either way, he would prove himself now. With a Begin! from whoever was watching in the stadium seating, hidden by a veil of curtain, the man charged forward, rearing back a fist to punch him. No doubt about it either, that would hurt.
With a sharp raise of his right arm and a flick of his wrist, he slammed the arm that was aiming for his head away and downwards. The momentum of the male caused him to fall instead, cracking his head against the ground. Turning swiftly to face him, Druid sighed. "That can't be it..." The Octavo tsked, wagging his finger at the man whom quickly leaped up from the ground. Wiping a some blood from the crown of his head, he charged once more. Not again with those tactics... This time, however, he was expecting Druid's counter attack. Which was what Druid expected. Grabbing Druid's wrist that attempted to flick him downwards once more, he grinned. Only to reveal a punch in the face.
That punch did not come alone. Druid had charged a small cero while waiting for him to stand on his knuckles. As the Cero and the force of his own punch struck the man's cheek, he flew backwards, third degree burns already forming on his face. Standing up, it was revealed half of his face was now missing. Another loud roar, and it was done. Sonido-ing forward, A swift kick to teh shin, a sharp jab to the thigh, and several punches to the chest followed by a left hook to the jaw quickly took care of him. Falling to the ground, he landed with a loud smash.
And that was that. Calmly walking up to the neck area of the large body, he knelt down and grabbed both sides of his melon head. Pulling to the left quickly, a large crack was heard as his neck snapped like a twig. And he was done. Standing up, he rolled around for a few moments on the balls of his feet before deciding to get something to eat. Strolling calmly out the door, he smiled at the roars of approval behind him.
