Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Shoutenshi is always serious and calm. His personality mirrors that of Kuketsu when he is in battle. Shoutenshi is quit and observes what happens around him without interfering unless he, or Kuketsu, is being attacked or threatened. He spends his time meditating and observing, never speaking unless he is spoken to by Kuketsu or whenever it is absolutely necessary.

Bankai: When his Bankai is released, Kuketsu releases an enormous amount of white spirit energy from his back, which takes the form of angel wings. His zapakuto maintains its shikai appearance, except its blade becomes shrouded in a bright, lucid light composed of his spirit energy.

Techniques:
1. Constricting light circle. Available in Shikai and Bnkai. Kuketsu stabs the ground with his zanpakuto, creating a giant circle of dense light surrounding it. Anyone in the circle, except Kuketsu, will become paralyzed. In Shikai, the circle has a 15 foot radius, only restricts movement and requires the opponents to be in contact with the ground or, at most, 3 feet above. In Bankai, the circle’s radius increases to 30 feet and restricts movement if the opponent is inside and between 10 and 0 feet from the ground.

2. Light prison. Available in Shikai and Bankai. Kuketsu raises his zanpakuto above his head and creates a strong, spherical prison of dense light around anyone he desires. While not restricting any abilities, it prevents the victim from escaping until it is broken and repels any attack weaker than the sphere from inside. The outer surface of the sphere acts like a normal barrier. In Bankai, the prison is much studier and more durable.

3. Final Judgment. Available in Bankai only. Kuketsu points his zanpakuto toward the sky and a swift beam of dense light rains straight down on his opponent causing imense damage. The powerful beam is difficult to dodge and takes some time before the user can use it again.
