Appearance:

Seiji has a oval shaped head, with a very defined jaw line. His hair is a dark blue and is normally unkempt, but is very clean and soft. He has very dark blue eyes, with very light circles around them hinting that he doesn't get much sleep. He doesn't have much body fat and has what one would call a "Cut" body, having very definite muscle tone. His overall appearance is tall, standing at about 6'1 and athletic.

Personality: Seiji is a very intelligent man who some consider to be an "over achiever." He was always at the top of his class, normally completing classes with 97% - 100%. This is a result of his incredible memory. Seiji rarely forgets a thing he sees and has an uncanny ability to analyze. For instance if somebody were to look at a table they would only see a table. To Seiji, there are hinges, nails, legs, wood, paint etc... He is able to spot things that are out of place and is quick to understand whats going on in a certain situation.

To Seiji there are no shades of gray, there is only truth. Hollows are bad, Humans are good. If someone deserves to die he will happily end that persons life. He is completely unbiased when making decisions, and will not hold his tongue if something needs to be said. He has a very strong sense of justice and does not lie. Seiji's sense of justice has gotten him in to a lot of trouble in the past. He will not compromise himself even if it means his own death and does not believe in the Greater Good. This does not mean he follows every rule to the letter. He has his own set of rules and punishments for certain crimes. He does not believe in the current law system of the human world and takes things in to his own hands when he thinks its necessary.

Fighting Style: Seiji is someone who likes to cover all of his bases. He has some skill in hand to hand combat, and makes good use of the Sceele Schneider should his enemy get too close. He tends to drag fights out, analyzing his opponents movements and fighting style and exploits his or her weaknesses. He normally begins his fights with several small test shots to see how his opponent reacts to his attacks. He only does this to be safe, he will end a fight quickly if he already knows how his opponent is going to fight.

He is a master of many Quincy techniques including Hirenkyaku, Ransotengai, various Ginto techniques and his own bow of course. He is able to fire smaller arrows without the use of his left hand leaving one hand free when firing arrows allowing him to be more prepared for counterattacks. One hand fires arrows while the other prepares items for Quincy techniques. When he fires arrows with both hands, the strength of each arrow doubles as well as the speed at which they are fired.

Background:
Seiji grew up in a very high class environment. His parents were wealthy business owners and forced him to attend private boarding schools. His natural ability to memorize things he sees or reads proved very useful in school, however he was often bullied by the dumber kids of whom he wasn't very fond of. They would beat him up and steal his homework so that they could copy his answers, and sometimes just beat him up. During his summers home his parents would force him to study up on what he would be learning the next year. His uncle, Ramone Yotogi would often give him comic books which his parents didn't approve of so he had to give them to Seiji in secret. His parents weren't very fond of Ramone period. He was a Quincy, and his brother Reiji, Seiji's father hated being a Quincy and didn't want his child to learn about his heritage.

At the age of ten, Seiji found his fathers wrist band. This wrist band was hard leather and had many religious symbols sewn in to it in silver. This was in fact a Quincy Cross. The medium that Quincy use to gather Reishi and focus it in to arrows. Seiji "borrowed" it from his fathers desk and showed it to his uncle. Ramone was not a man who believed in chance, and so he believed that Seiji was meant to find his fathers Quincy Cross and become a Quincy. Ramone taught Seiji in secret how to manipulate Reishi and form his bow. By the age of thirteen he had already gained quite a mastery of his Quincy abilities.

On the eve of his fourteenth birthday, Seiji took his father Quincy cross in to the forest to practice. While he was away, several hollow attacked his parents mansion. His father was unable to protect them without his Quincy Cross and were brutally killed and devoured. Seiji returned home to find the bloody mess left behind by the Hollow. This traumatizing event led Seiji to hate the Hollows. He left his home and began hunting Hollows like mad hoping that he would one day kill the ones that murdered his parents.

Later in life, Seiji finished school and became a doctor at the Karakura Hospital. He chose karakura specifically for the fact that it has the highest concentration of spiritual beings including Hollow. When Seiji finishes his shift at the hospital he is off slaying hollow after hollow. Doctor by day, Quincy by night!
