The wind blew softly in the air. Trees swayed back in forth as the invisible hand passed over them. The rocky landscape of the alpine forest casted a shadow over the valley below. This placed was untouched by time and would have remained as such. It would soon reflect the dead, chaotic and inflamed characteristics the other side of the mountain had now been thrown into. Evidence of Sin's attacks had made a permanent mark as the side of the mountain was in flames. Humans would call it a forest fire. Any spiritually aware being would call it a chase.
The hollow was about the size of a lion but moved like a cheetah. Its white claws buried into the ground and kicked up dirt as it pounced from the ground to a tree limb and repeated the process. As he did so Fireballs landed inch's from his white body. What appeared to be hair on the hollows back shot toward the dark figure above him in attempts or retaliation.
its left back leg was limping due to the Figures successful hit moments before the chase had started. Its dark blue lobes for eyes dashed back and forth across the terrain as it moved looking for any attempt at all to shake its pursuer. This was the first time this hollow had ever been introduced to fear and would soon be its last if nothing happened fast.
Sin moved with elite speed over the tops of the trees. He effortlessly landed on simple tree limbs to plant himself and push off again. Not even a second later he was gone in his act of shunpo. In his hands he held his blades in Shikai, dragging one end of the chain while he spun the other like a lasso. Every few feet he would release another shot of fire down toward the fleeing Hollow. Sin wasn't even trying to hit it anymore. He just wanted it to suffer for the countless children it had eaten over the past two weeks.
Any ordinary shinigami could have killed it but Sin found the act rather disturbing and decided to hunt it himself. Now with its leg gimp from the start of there battle together, it was more like playing "how close can you get before the kitty cat goes into flames" than an actual battle. He showed no sign of pity or remorse for it either. The creature deserved to die. The other Vaizards would wonder why he found it necessary to kill such a simple hollow and he would only reply with "I felt like it" or "I wanted to hunt something" and leave it at that.
The hollow then curled its tail and whipped it toward Sin. a single inch long barb shot forth from its tail with what Sin assumed was poison coated over it. Sin flicked his head to the right as the barb passed, sailing into the sky. He shook his head at the pitiful attempt. He wished all hollows could be this easy. he spun his cauldron of fire again and formed a rather large fire ball before shooting it down to earth likes god's judgment. the hollow receded backwards as it landed in front of him spraying fire upward into the surrounding trees igniting them with a simple touch of the flame.
Moments later another fell downward, this time behind the hollow causing the same burst of flames to devour the tree line behind him. Sin held both ends of his chain now, spinning both and fired four, one after another and two from each sphere to block the sides of the hollow. The hollow frantically looked from all sides form an escape. Sin was done chasing. He slowly fell down into the ring of fire he had created and watched as the hollow acted much like a cougar or lion and pace back and forth growling at him.
The hollow jerked its head forward and snapped at Sin, a sign that it wasn't ready to die just yet. "Creatures like you..." Sin said in a dark tone as he began to spin one end of his chain again forming a stronger and more intense flame. "Don't deserve to live." Sin said as released the huge fireball towards the Hollow. The fireball collided with the hollow and Sin watched it consume it as the hollow flopped in pain until it died. When the creature no longer moved, Sin sealed his blades and the fires died down to nothing. He turned and walked a few feet before disappearing into the forest.
