Name: Thomas Hopper
Age: 24
Years Since Gaining Superhuman Powers: 8
Gender: Male
Current Location: London, England.
Occupation: Mercenary
Rank: General
Appearance: Tommy has a non-intimidating figure: he is about 5 feet & 10 inches tall, and weighs 175 pounds. He is tall and lanky for his height, with fairly long arms and large hands, with long, thin fingers (for humans, I mean). Tommy has blonde hair with a bowlcut hairstyle, and his eyes are deep black. Tommy has a pasty skin tone, and his nose is small, almost nonexistent from a distance. Tommy wears a red shirt with black polka dots and white baggy pants, with normal tennis shoes. Accessory-wise, Tommy has brass rings on his forearms (these are tightly-wrapped around his arms and thus do not rattle).
Personality: Tommy is a very hard person to even get along with, let alone like. He is a contradictory person, at times being very straightforward and harsh while at other times being deceptive and beating around the bush. He holds humans in a low regard, believing that being a superhuman makes him superior to any other human in the world. He even treats his subordinates poorly, especially if they do not prove to be useful; he then proceeds to treats them like trash. Because he looks down on humans, he does not care at all about collateral damage when fighting hollows, often claiming that "casualties are inevitable," usually saying this with a smirk on his face.
Fighting Style: Tommy is a nasty person to fight. He trained to be an assassin/mercenary, and has the skills to show it. He is extremely agile, able to dodge gunfire and jump onto the roofs of buildings. He is also extremely durable; his body acts almost like an exoskeleton that lessens the damage of impact-attacks (but not penetrating ones). While Tommy's strength is higher than almost all other humans, it is about average for Freaks. Because of this, Tommy prefers a fast-paced fight, using combinations of punches, jabs, and kicks. He prefers to get off a combination or two on his opponent before quickly jumping out of his opponent's range before he has a chance to respond.
Although Tommy's strength is average for a superhuman, his high reiatsu level allows him to concentrate energy into his limbs, creating attacks that are devastating for regular humans. He enjoys slashing a person's head to pieces or punching a hole through a person's chest, or kicking them so hard that blood spews from their mouth.
As was said above, Tommy really doesn't care much about the safety of humans. If he wanted to, he would toss a person into the air or at his opponent, simply to distract him/her and land an attack.
Background: Tommy grew up as one of the children in an London orphanage. Over time, he had developed the delusion that he did not belong in the orphanage, that he had not been abandoned like the other orphans. This feeling of self-superiority eventually led him to leave the orphanage at the age of 16, determined to live his life to the fullest. Little did he know what that would entail.
He eventually was conscripted into the British military and fought in a recent war. He was shocked to realize that he enjoyed warfare; not the adrenaline of fighting, but in the bloodshed that he caused and the lives he took. In time, this feeling of shock eventually dissipated and was replaced with one of bloodlust. In a takeover of a town, Tommy gun down the family of a household, ignoring his fellow soldier's attempts to stop him. Tommy was apprehended and sentenced to trial in military court. Before the trial, the bloodlust he had been feeling eventually overcame him, combined with the high spiritual energy that had existed at the orphanage he had grown up in all these years, awoke his powers. Tommy broke out of the cell he was held in, slaying several soldiers who got in his way before disappearing into the darkness of the night.
Tommy thus began his new life as a mercenary, taking up missions that entailed assassinations of anyone, from random businessmen to high profile politicians. One of his particularly notorious assassinations got the attention of a superhuman general, who reported back to the overseers with haste. The overseers realized that Tommy's actions might very well reveal the existence of superhumans to the rest of the world, something that they did not want to happen. They found Tommy and offered him a deal: that he would work with them and not misbehave, and they would pay him handsomely (seeing as some of the overseers were incredibly wealthy). Always not wanting more money, Tommy accepted the deal.
After 4 years of working with the superhumans, Tommy began to grow bored with his complacent life. He longed for the bloodlust that was lacking from his current situation. He began to take up mercenary jobs again under the overseers' noses while still accepting their money with a wide grin. However, Tommy could hardly keep things secret forever. His assassination of a prominent politician in Europe sparked the investigations of Interpol, which connected this assassination with many others that were similar and had been carried out by Tommy. Tommy's current situation with the superhumans is now unclear.
