Appearance: Kishou's eyes are full of an astounding blood red that could fool anyone into thinking he was honest. He keeps a sly smile upon his face that is unreadable even by those who have known him for years. His hair is a healthy, flowing silver that reaches his shoulders. But while his face is rough and wrinkled, jubilation can be seen within his chubby cheeks and stubbled chin. He is six foot four and 165 pounds, his muscular build is just slightly greater than lean. He wears a pure white t-shirt, blue jeans, a long black cloak, and black shoes.

Personality: Kishou can be best described as deceptive. He is always going for his own goals, his own happiness, and his own whims. But he does his best to make sure that others don't see these selfish desires by acting as every cliché of the “team player” you've ever seen. He is happy, but he wants to be happier; he is strong, but he wants to be stronger. Being only a low elite within the Vizard ranks, it's easy to see where he wants to go next. If it turns out that he can't find power here, he'll take his strength elsewhere.

As a leader, he is persuasive and smooth. He has a way of turning insults and criticism around that can only be described as propagandist. He motivates by both words and action, he is willing to unsheathe his sword and lay his life down on the line as long as he knows he'll be victorious.


Inner Hollow Personality: There's such a thin line between sanity and insanity... Whereas Kishou controls himself and holds back his desires, Saturayo (the inner hollow's name) is outwardly vicious in order to get what he wants. He doesn't have the golden tongue that Kishou does, so he relies upon his strength in order to persuade others to his side. If that doesn't work, then murder comes as easily as breathing.

Inner Hollow Appearance: Saturayo is strong, rigid, and unafraid. This much can be seen from looking into his golden-speckled eyes. He is humanoid, but his skin is pure black and a mask of striped yellow and black haunts his face. He has a body built for speed, but there is immense power behind the lean muscle of his arms and legs. He wears no clothes, he thinks of them as unnecessary human inventions (the same way he thinks of fear, sadness, and pity).


Fighting Style: Kishou focuses on speed and defense, two qualities that he finds very important. He fights in a manner that seeks to protect himself and those around him (just another part of his deception). If he thinks he can take a hit, he will do so if only so that he can launch an immediate counter attack. If he thinks he can dodge, he'll do so if only those around him won't be harmed. While he is very strong, he usually only uses his strength when it will be compounded by his opponent's errors.

Background: Kishou was born in Kamarpukur, West Bengal, India on February 20th, 1490. As a child, he was introduced to the Hindu faith and hoped to someday become a Pandit (priest). At the age of 20, he relocated to Kanpur, a rather insignificant village, in order to become a priest and teacher. In actuality, he'd end up doing his job for a month before the British invaded and burned it to the ground, finding it to be of little use in the race for colonizing. Kishou gathered an army of displaced Indians within the north Indian countryside and vowed revenge. He trekked east for weeks before coming across the British again in Allahabad. There, his army would be soundly defeated by the British and Kishou would be drawn and quartered as an example of what happens when the British are crossed.

Once in Rukongai, Kishou was discovered a couple of years later. His intense spiritual alignment caused him to be one of the few students that could already control his reiatsu. He enrolled in advanced shinigami training and graduated two years early, going straight to 2nd division as tenth seat. This was where Kishou's current personality began to set in. He saw himself as special and exemplary.

Ten years later, Kishou had mastered his shikai and its shapeshifting capabilities. No one had ever seen anything like it before and it made him all the more valuable to 2nd Division. He was quickly catapulted to 5th seat and became commander of the Reversal Counter Force. It was his job to spy, collect information on the other races, and relay it to the captain-commander and all others included.

Kishou remained fifth seat for centuries, until he found his bankai and decided to rise to lieutenant under . He headed both the Patrol Corps and Reversal Counter Force during this time; his command over two divisions of the Onmitsukido made him quite influential within 2nd Division. In time, Kishou decided that influence wasn't enough. He spent months trying to figure out what to do, it seemed that he had reached the end of his power and he couldn't leave his duties within 2nd squad to become a captain without losing favor.

Kishou traveled into the human world, using his zanpakuto's abilities to shapeshift into a hollow. This was basic for him, something that he did often, but tonight there was something different. As he released his reiatsu, attempting to summon other hollows to him, he saw a masked man in the night sky. It seemed that Kishou's hollow form had been more effective bait than he'd realized. The masked man fought off the hollows and after dispatching them, he headed right for Kishou! He had a zanpakuto in hand and a cero in the other, it bewildered Kishou to see this. After a fight where Kishou came out victorious (the hollows had weakened the vizard), Kishou revealed himself as a shinigami.

Kishou had never seen a vizard before, but he knew that they must be against Soul Society's laws. For a quick second, he actually thought of capturing this man and showing him to Central 46. He pushed this idea from his mind with ease and put out a hand to help the masked man stand up. The vizard accepted and made a strangled noise with smiling eyes. Seconds later, the vizard maker appeared and Kishou introduced himself. A couple jokes, a few questions, and an oath of loyalty later, Kishou was at the Mount Fuji sanctuary, becoming a vizard. Soul Society would assume that Kishou had been killed during his duties in the human world.

Alright, a decent profile overall. However, there are a few changes that need to be made.

First off, you died around 1836 yet say your soul is 500 years old. That would put the current date at 2256. It isn't that far in the future, only 2010. So that needs an adjustment somehow. Either change when your character is killed or how old he is. Also if you keep the 500 years old thing, you need to up the visual age to at least in the 40s.

Final issue, you don't just find the vizard maker and the vizards. In the plot, the shinigami only just recently found out about the vizards and still do not know where they are located. So you wouldn't just be able to go to the santuary like that. Instead, the powerful Vizard Maker find you. So that needs an edit.

Fix those things and I think I will be willing to approve.

Maybe just change it so that you come across the vizard maker approaches you when you are the human world. Maybe he believed that with your personality, you would be willing to accept the transformation.

Or perhaps you come across one of the vizards, and when you try to understand what creature you have found, the Vizard Maker appears before you or something and offers you the same power.

Something like that.

My mistake, I thought what you were saying was that the shinigami just didn't know the vizards' location, not that they entirely didn't know they existed. Fixed.

Also if it only been 50 years een you left Soul Soceity then your last Captain was Ranryou. My character. I think you should change that, and I doubt you would have more influence then him in the Squad.
