It was day 9 of the voyage from America to Spain. A mighty storm had hit the ship nice and hard, pinning them down to a single bit of godforsaken waters that all the waves seem to be attracted too. Black clouds had blanketed the sky for 3 days now making Kabel's job evermore easier. Ten days ago he had been hired to eliminate the entire crew of the Santa Claudia before it reached its mark. Kabel accepted and tried to kill them all before they even got on the boat. He managed to kill 10 out of the 138 crew members, took the place of one, and joined the boat ride to Spain all before leaving. Now he laid down in the barracks swinging back and forth as the ship rocked in his hammock that doubled as a bed. He thought of all the other kills he had made while on the trip, a total of 58 confirmed kills now. He, along with the rest of the crew, had been confronted twice for there deaths or "vanishings" some would call it. Now everyone carried a weapon, making it even more fun for Kabel. the trip was supposed to be a 15 day journey so Kabel had a little over 6 days left to kill 80 people. He didn't worry about it to much, his record of kills per day was 49 so the likelihood of the crews survival was minimal not to mention the gold involved for the completion of the mission. Kabel would be paid 3 billion USD for this mission. His motto in life is " Don't let anyone tell you your life doesn't have a price." because he proved that statement every day.
He then decided it would be fun to end this today. He did always wonder what it would be like to ride a boat during a storm. He loved the thought of the danger. He slowly made his way down to the engine room of the ship. He greeted a few of the crew members one last time, his way of saying "goodbye" , then headed into a section of the room where all the gases reside. He turned a few knobs letting out more nitrogen than oxygen. He then took a small blade the skipper had issued everyone to use to defend themselves with if the killer were to find them. It was incredibly sharp and perfect for such a occasion. He stabbed the knife hard into one of the nitrogen pipes, enough to penetrate it and a small bit of the blade went into it. Then he quickly turned the valve on the same pipe to let it flow even more but not to much. Now it was time for the rather genius part. He ran back out the door and a few doors down to a vending machine on board that dealt out matches. Kabel bout 2 packs and emptied them, saving only one. He tore off the lighting end off the boxs and threw away the rest. He then ran back to his room, grabbed his things and went back to the engine room, no one greeted him now. He had about 15 minutes before time ran out. He went to the engine room door and bent down to see it. He grabbed a thing of tape from his bag and taped the match to the door where it met with the frame. He double edged another piece of tape and added the lighter end of the matchbox to it. He put this on the frame where the match would hit the frame. The idea behind it was whenever the door was opened again the match would light. with the room filled with nitrogen gas the whole place would explode. The guard shift checked every room at 12, which was 15 minutes from now.
Kabel laughed to himself as he left the room and headed onto the deck. The rain beat down onto his head as undid the emergency boat. A guard approached him as soon as he was about to get into it. Before the guard could speak Kabels blood blade had pierced the mans chest. He had no more confrontation after that. He checked his watch. It was 10 minutes until the rounds checked the engine room. Lucky for him the emergency boat was motorized and covered like a submarine just in case it sank or there were really high waves which their were. He drove away in the small emergency vessel while he looked toward the boat. One minute remained. suddenly the boat ignited in an explosion of flames. Apparently someone was early to there shift. Kabel watched as the ship and the remained of the crew dashed on deck as the water swallowed one end of the ship. Kabels boat being the only emergency one on the ship halted any means of escape for them, they would drown in the cold dark waters. Kabel simple sat back and hit the rescue button on the boat to signal for help. He would tell the police that he was the only survivor of a gas explosion and he wouldn't be questioned further. A few days latter he would get the 3 billion he had been looking forward too. So he sat back with a smile on his face and whistled a tune of his own.
