Name: Kumori Gyakusetsu (Shadow Paradox)

Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance:

Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Kumori is a very wise and serious zanpakuto, the exact opposite of Naraga's hollow. Kumori acts as Naraga's consience and gives very helpful advise. He grows annoyed if his advice is ignored and he is always at odds with Naraga's hollow. He is also very modest like Naraga unless he is underestimated by an opponent in which he become horrifically enraged and goes full power without Naraga's command. Kumori is usually quiet and only talks when needed.

Release Phrase: Show him/her/them fear, Kumori!

Family: Shadow, Poison

Level: Bankai

Sealed Zanpakuto: It is a black and white wrist gautlet with a fingerless glove attached and a blade that extends from the top of the wrist that is about 10 1/2 inches long. The gautlet cover most of Naraga's forearm.

Shikai: Dual wrist gautlets with fingerless gloves, spiked knuckles, and spikes extending from the outside of the gautlets up to Naraga's elbows, where a large spike extends from the elbows. The blades extend from the top of his wrists and the blades are now longer at 12 1/2 inches. The blades can also be launched from the gautlets with a chain that pulls the blades back.

Shikai Ability: One stuck by it's blade begins to feel, an uncontrollable sense of dread, and death. As the effects of the poison spreads throughout the struck limb the individual begins to lose all feeling within that spot, and to them the limb itself is fading away. Causing demobilization, and instability in that person. Only two limbs can be effected by this ability.

Bankai: Two identical scythes 7 1/2 ft. long each and blades about 5 ft. long with Naraga's signature black reiastu surrounding them, getting darker as it reaches the blades. It also shrouds Naraga, now hooded in torn pitch black robes with bone wings appearing from his back shrouded in his black spirit energy, in his own reiatsu. When using his hollow mask, Naraga uses it as his face due to his reiatsu shrouding his face within his dark hood.

Bankai Release Phrase: Death by Bankai.

Bankai Ability: Kumori now strikes with a lethal dose of toxins created from his reiastu. Each strike injects a small amount into the body from his scythes and wings should they attack draw blood, slowly causing the enemy to hallucinate, and sends the nervous system into a state of temporary confusion: Making the enemy's response times, and reaction times diluted.


Techniques: Shadows of the Soul (Shikai and Bankai)- creates an illusion of the targets greatest fear that "attacks" them creating a distraction and can kill through cardiac arrest. Survivors of the attack are immune to this attack afterward.
Cool Down: 2 turns
Duration: 2-3 turns

Black Aura (Shikai and Bankai): When night or in immense shade, Naraga is capable of melting into the shadows making him almost completely invisible.
Cool Down: 3 turns
Duration: 2 or until revealed or until he attacks

Shadow Rift (Bankai Only): Naraga builds up enough spiritual energy into his scythes then uses it to tear a portal that enhales his enemies. The rift takes them to the void which erodes at their spiritual energy which they feel as direct pain. Then it spits them back out. (Naraga is what is keeping the rift open. If Naraga is hit while in this state the portal will close.)
Charge: 3 turns
Duration: 1 turns
Cool Down: 5 turns

Confused on the appearance of your bankai. So it is a double sided scythe except one side is retractable? And did you suddenly jump from gauntlets to a scythe and a flail because I am not really a fan of that. Way too large of a change in my opinon with the jumping from one weapon to two drastically different weapons. Honestly I really just don't like having the flail there.

I doubt any bleach character is going to die from cardiac arrest but I do agree that it would be a decent distraction, so I will approve Shadows of the Soul.

I just am a little worried about your shikai and bankai ability. Mostly because there is no set way they work, it is all based on how decent the person you are roleplaying with can pull it off. There is nothing for sure about the tech because each individual RPer can decide how much they want their character to be effected. There is also the fact that they might not be that effective in combat in the end.

I would prefer you change the abilities to something more concrete, but anyone else can put their own two cents in about suggestions.

Bankai: A oddly shaped scythe having a very thin, yet durable blade connected to a 14 foot lance. On the opposite side of the blade a counter weight is placed in the shape of a very thin dagger.

Bankai Ability: Kumori now strikes with a lethal dose of toxins created from his own blood. Each strike injects a small amount into the body. Slowly causing the enemy to hallucinate, and sends the nervous system into a stated of temporary confusing. Making the enemy's response times, and reaction times diluted.

Near Invisibilty: wheres at night or in immense shade. He turns pitch black becoming one with the shadows, litterally. (10 meters around?)

Clone wave: All the clones besides the real one form into a wave of energy, that is then shot out at the enemy direction. The more clones more damage it does as the wave also turns bigger.

well i tried but the fact is that i hate both shadow and poison...
