Clash in the East

((Carnasde and Kuketsu came to this topic from 'Invasion of the Soul Soceity'))

Carnasde smirked as he saw Kuketsu's reaction. 'So he's taking the defensive.' Carnasde Sonido'd backwards to around the area his forces had burned down. "Tell you what soul reaper, you make the first move, I want to see what you can do." Carnasde called out with a mocking tone.

(Inubara is rapidly approaching this topic, coming to aid Captain Kuketsu.)

Kuketsu saw Carnasde move into the open area and followed him. He stood a moderate distance away from Carnasde as he gave him a serious look. "You are giving me the first move? Very well." Kuketsu raised his left hand pointed his left index finger at Carnasde. "Hado 4, Byakurai." He fired a blue energy lightning bolt at Carnasde. After that attack, Kuketsu used shunpo to move above him and swung his zanpakuto downward, aiming for Carnasde's head.

Meanwhile, Kuketsu began sensing Inubara heading in his direction. I sense someone coming. I hope they are an ally. I could use some back up fighting this Espada.

As Carnasde saw the blast coming, he performed sonido to move to his left, and then rushed off with his sonido to punch Kuketsu in the face, not expecting him to have also moved. He turned around to see Kuketsu, who had swung his zanpakuto down, in order to slice his head. It was at that moment that he slightly felt the presence of another person moving into the area. Not being to recognize the reiatsu as belonging to the other espada and doubting that they'd send a weak hollow to help him, he assumed it was an enemy.

"So, you've got a little friend coming. That makes things interesting." Carnasde thought about what he wanted to do as the possible threat approached. Carnasde smirked and punched forward, releasing a bala. 'This is going to be fun.'

Rather than dashing along the tops of buildings like the flashier of Shinigami, Inubara approached Captain Kuketsu by sprinting along the dry, cracked ground. He arrived just in time to see the Bala flying at the other Shinigami. "Attract, Koukyo..." He whispered, swinging his Zanpakuto around as it transformed. Once it changed into the mace-like state, Inubara smashed it against the ground. A dull ringing sound echoed throughout the air as fifty metal rods surrounded the Lieutenant. After that little show, he decided to stand still, waiting to see what the Espada had planned.

Kuketsu saw Carnasde swing his arm, attempting to punch him in the face, and stopped his attack aimed at Carnasde head and ducked to dodge his fist. Kuketsu then spun around until he was behind Carnasde. He then saw Carnasde fire a bala in the direction of the presence that he was sensing. It seems that I have some back up on the way. However, this Espada already found that out. I just hope they don't get harmed. Kuketsu then thrust his zanpakuto forward, aiming to stab Carnasde through the middle of his back.

Carnasde immediately recognised that this creature was not an arrancar, and was impressed by the technique he showed. He attempted to turn around after Kuketsu span behind him, but did not turn in time and got stabbed near the middle of his back. As he looked back behind himself, he attempted to elbow Kuketsu in the face and then followed up with a cero. He had at the time, been distracted from Inubara.

Sensing his opportunity to strike, Inubara grasped onto two of the gray poles he had created. First he threw the one in his right hand, like a javelin, at Carnasde. Then as he reached back with that hand to grab another, he threw the one in his left hand. He repeated these motions, throwing a total of ten rods: Five at Carnasde and five in a large circle, with him at the far edge and the sparring duo in the dead center.

Kuketsu ducked again to dodge Carnasde's elbow, but was blasted by his cero and was sent flying, pulling his zanpakuto out of him. Kuketsu closed his eyes in pain as he slid to a stop. Once he stopped moving, he opened his eyes and saw Inubara's poles heading toward Carnasde. He smiled at the sight of Inubara. I see. So the 12th division lieutenant is my back up. This will increase my chances of victory, but I don't want him to get hurt. Kuketsu raised his left hand and pointed it at Carnasde. "Bakudo 61, Rikujokoro." He created six beams of light around Carnasde that were swiftly heading towards his midsection which would paralyze him if they hit.

Carnasde found his attack to be successful and his wound was starting to heal. 'Heh, not too shabby, just then, six bars of light came from nowhere and paralysed him. "What the," he mumbled as he struggled. All of the sudden, he felt several impacts against his back, three of the rods going through partiall while two of them claged against his back and fell. Five others surrouded him. "What is going on!" he yelled.

"I do believe you've been trapped..." Inubara said with a light smirk, grabbing two more rods. Using Shunpo, he appeared behind Carnasde, already swinging with the weapons. He shoved the one in his left hand straight forward, aiming for the Arrancar's spine. Then, he spun around, trying to hit Kesmera across the head with his right pole. "Hado number twelve, Tsuzuri Raiden." Inubara called out, directing the arcing lightning across the metallic weaponry.

Kuketsu used shunpo to move in front of Carnasde as Inubara was using Tsuzuri Raiden. I see. So he is planning to shock him with the Hado. Well I guess I should attack while he is shocking him then. Kuketsu pointed at Carnasde with his left hand. "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hado 33, Sokatsui." He sent a full powered blue, energy wave at Carnasde.

Carnasde struggled against the kido spell, his anger rising as he struggled. Eventually, after having another pole inserted into him and taking one to the head, he broke free, his hand flailing as he was shocked.

The electricity of Inubara's momentarily paralyzed him, bringing him to his knees."Ugh!" He was in so much pain that he did not notice Kuketsu's charging a kido spell behind him. The full force of the spell colliding against him, greatly damaging his body. He panted deeply, his body in horrible condition.

He pulled out his zan and spoke the simple phrase, "Buzz," as his body transformed into an insectoid state, most of his body being covered in a black material, save his arms, shins, and his upper torso, being even more fortified by a material similar to his mask. Blue orbs covered his elbows, knees and the middle of his chest. His mask fragment was now a jaw with spikes, and his hollow hole was at his stomach. He now had four arms and four majestic wings on his back.

Carnasde used a sluggish sonido to travel about six feet to the left of Inubara and what would be Kuketsu's right. He crossed his arms and fired a cero at Kuketsu using his right arm and his signature "Alterar por Hielo" at Inubara with his left, hoping to freeze him, his next move being dependant on the success of his first two.

Inubara quickly grabbed one of the rods that had followed him, spinning it rapidly to form a shield. While it ended up coating that whole side of the weapon in ice, it left him protected. "Hado number thirty-one, Shakkaho!" He called out, moving the orb of fire over his weapon quickly, melting the ice while heating the iron to very high levels. Not daring to hold on for long, Inubara then swung the weapon like a bat, letting go at the last moment so it would fly the short distance. He then reached out for another rod with the Shakkaho-wielding hand, heating that second one just as much before he stabbed forward with it toward Carnasde.

Using shunpo, Kuketsu dodged the cero and moved to the right. "Bind, Shoutenshi." Kuketsu's zanpakuto began to morph as it entered shikai. Once his zanpakuto was released, he waved his left arm at Carnasde as he fired a Hado spell. "Hado 54, Haien" He shot a purple energy ball at Carnasde's midsection. Kuketsu then used shunpo to move above Carnasde. He swung his zanpakuto downward, aiming for Carnasde's upper left arm and hopefully, cut it off.

Carnasde sat dumbfoundedly as the attacks came at him at a short-range, not knowing what to do. He looked over at Inubara and saw him throw the pole at him. He tried to hold his arms in front of him to take the impact, getting hit by the captain's hado, knocking him to the ground. He got up onto his knees, trying to launch a bala at Inubara to stop him from stabbing him, only to have his arm chopped off. He used sonido to step backwards a few feet. He fired a three ceros at Inubara, one directly at him, and two to the sides and shot bala at Kuketsu, trying to buy some time to actually think of something.

"What, concentrating on the Lieutenant of the group? Good idea, leave the Captain with a few Bala..." Inubara said cheekily. calling up two rods in front of himself, then sending them spinning in opposite directions so as to diffuse most of the damage from the Cero. A few bits still hit him, but they were only really Bala-strength, and thus not enough to stop him. Since he realized that this man seemed to rely on his wings for defense, Inubara decided that he was going to focus his assault there. He forced those two rotating poles forward, knowing that even though they'd be weaker, they'd also draw the attention of his foe. Using Shunpo to keep behind them, Inubara grasped the one closest to himself, stabbing it at the Espada through the helicoptor-like rotations of his other weapon.

Shooting balas at me, a captain, and ceros at Inubara, a lieutenant; not a wise idea. Kuketsu was able to block most of the balas with his zanpakuto, but a few balas managed hit him, yet they did not hurt that much. He then began charging his light prison and swiftly charged at the Espada. "Hado 11, Tsuzuri Raiden." He sent an electric current through his zanpakuto in order to amplify his strike and electrify Carnasde if he blocked the attack. When Kuketsu was in front of Carnasde, he swung vertically at Carnasde, aiming for his left shoulder.

Carnasde mainly watched Kuketsu this time as he used this time to regenerate his arm, as it seemed his arm slid out of his wound. He saw as Kuketsu's blade surged with lightning and he tried to charge up cero to stop Kuketsu. His attention was completely diverted away from Inubara, who managed to hurt him with a few stabs of his zanpakuto. He tried to punch Inubara in the face with his right arm as the left was cut off again. "Cut that out," he said, directing his fist towards Kuketsu instead.
