Virgil took a simple stroll through the park, completely oblivious to his surroundings. The moon was full, and it shone brightly over a clearing of trees that the Superhuman had decided to stop in. Much to his suprise, this place was... peaceful. It had a benign feel to it, an almost calming effect. Well, for a while, it did. It was this way until Virgil thought he heard something. Something... fast. It suddenly came out of the bush, and it was... a cat. It went over to Virgil and nuzzled his ankle. He picked it up, and sighed. "You know, you shouldn't scare... people... like that." He said, and before he knew it, he was staring down a hulking Hollow, and was about face level with its cold, dark eyes.
"I take it you're not here to take in the sight, are you, you big, snarling, soul eating monster." He said as he put down that cat, which instinctively ran away fast, sensing that danger was present. Meanwhile, the Superhuman cracked his neck as he looked around; During the course of a few seconds, at least three more Hollows had perched themselves on the braches of the trees around him, and were looking for a midnight meal. "Come on, make my day." He said, and lept back. He cracked his knuckles and neck, and activated his Titan's Rage. The bones that shot out of his arms rather quickly, and his muscles increased in size as well.
The "leader" Hollow lunged at Virgil head on, and its assault was meant with a punch to the mask. While this didn't ward it off, it got the Hollow furious. It roared, and its "buddies" jumped in to help. "Oh come on, you call this fair? Really? Well, if you want fair, then just watch me work." He said, and went on the offensive: He lept into the air, and used one of the weaker Hollows as a springboard. While he was still airborne, one of the weaker ones lept up as well. They managed to tackle him all the way into the ground, and tried biting him. Virgil used his Superhuman strength to keep its jaws apart, and kicked the hollow off of him. He quickly regained his composure, and stamped his foot into the ground. It summoned a couple of boulders, which he kicked at the leader. The leader's body was knocked into the other Hollows, and they were all together. While Virgil saw an opportunity, he raised his fist, and smashed it into the ground hard. The result of this attack was a violent earthquake, which wound up knocking over trees on the Hollows. Some of the weaker ones were pinned, but the leader had managed to escape before any real damage could be done to him.
Virgil looked as he ran away, and smirked. "We're not through, you and I..." He said, and quickly dealt with the weakers Hollows that were pinned under trees. After they were destroyed, Virgil found himself walking home, and it began raining. He looked up at the sky, and smiled. "I appreciate the reward, but killing those things was its own reward. He said, and walked the rest of the way home in the rain, whistling as he did so.
