Fight 3: Sakura Vs. Thomas

Sakura entered the grssy plains, the reason for being there was not really clear but what she did know was that the man Thomas Hopper must be deafeted in battle. She walked to the middle of the plains and stood there waiting for her opponent, She held her gaurd up and placed her hand on her katana that rested firmly on her back. She moved it to the side and was ready to use a Iai if nessecary.

With the wind blowing through a few lonely trees she was quitly waiting and keeping watch for every sudden change in her field of vision.

Thomas observed this weird being from a far distance with binoculars. She looked like a shinigami with a zanpakuto, but her spiritual energy contained the scent of a hollow. But Thomas knew that he had to kill this woman, and do so as efficiently as possible.

Thomas unleashed his energy, sprouting his bug-like wings as he leaped from his observation point and through the long grass. He hoped to bring this fight to an end in one moment, bringing up one hand to act like a spear and stab the woman through the heart as the distance between them shortened in a short amount of time.

Sakura turned to the incoming threat as she sensed the flare of reiatsu as his power activated. She waited till he was in range and with a fluid motion she used an Iai on him (quike draw). as soon as the attack halted she whispered "Bleed Ketsueki Ken" The blade vanished and only the hilt remained. With a quike back jump she created some distance, she pointed the hilt towards Thomas.

Thomas looked at the blade that stopped his hand. Hmm, this will be a difficult kill. As the shinigami-like being released her shikai, Thomas jumped to his right, appearing on Sakura's left side. Three large mosquitos emerged from his hands and mouth, and these creatures flew towards Sakura will blinding speed, their proboscises glistening as they hungered for blood.

Sakura raised the hilt as the three creatures flew at amusing speed towards her, A Dark red blade formed from the hilt and changed into a net like structer on a small rod. The net structure hardened and a flyswatter was made. With a few fast swings she murdered the bugs, she pointed her hand towards Thomas and whispered something under her voice "Byukurai" A white lightning bolt shot out her hand and headed for thomas.

Interesting. Thomas watched as his mosquitos were destroyed and a bolt of lightning shot at him. He reacted fast, crouching and almost hugging the ground as the bolt flew right above him and hit a hill, creating a smoldering crater. Thomas stuck his hands into the ground and released two large burrowing centipedes. He then jumped into the air and released a small group of large wasps that buzzed towards Sakura. If all went to plan, the centipedes would shoot out from the ground and tear into his opponent's legs, causing her to lose her focus and allowing the wasps to inflict even more damage.

She couldn't see what Thomas did to the ground so just to be sure she used a shunpo appearing behind Thomas, Leaving the wasps that were heading to the spot she was standiong behind. The flyswatter changed into a regular 1,5 M katana and Sakura made a sideways slash towards his chest. "Bloody armor"

Thomas hated how fast this girl was; it was making this kill less and less fun. He spun around as Sakura appeared behind him, and a praying mantis half-emerged from his left hand, slowing the blade with its large claws before it tore through the insect. But that extra half-second allowed Thomas to fly backwards and out of the sword's reach. He pulled the other half of the insect from his palm and tossed it aside.

"Let's try something else, then. Overload."

The blood from the blade wrapped around Sakura's body forming an armor plating, The blade reformed and Sakura took a offensive battle stance. She took a look at Thomas and he seemed to bedoing something, but she couldn't really make out what. As she charged towards him she whispered "Bloody rain" Making a shunpo she tried to body slam Thomas, with her full weight and the power of the shunpo in, combining it with the hardness of her armor.

Thomas saw Sakura charge him, and he summoned a large beetle, using its body to propel himself to his right and leaving the bug in the path of Sakura's body slam. His Overload technique ready, his mouth and hands bulged before hundreds of various bugs exploded out of them and sped towards Sakura.

"Time to step it up a notch" Sakura placed her hand over her face and pulled it of and a mask decorated her face. -Utsusemi- With a shunpo she moved upwards to avoid the barrage of buugs heading for where her shunpo clone was standing. She took this chance to charge her tech.

What the- Thomas was momentarily knocked back by the sheer amount of energy that Sakura's mask exerted. However, he kept up his assault, quickly shifting his column of bugs towards where the vizard had now appeared. My normal bugs can't really keep up with her. Dang. Thomas held back his swarm and dashed above Sakura, releasing another barrage of bugs so that the two swarms would hit her around the same time.

Sakura fired her blood bullets throught the pilar of bugs heading for her from above, as her armor receded back into her sword. She tried to use a shunpo to get away before the pilars hit but saw she wasn't gonna make it. She used a short shunpo to below and then a large one back wards, this caused her arm to get caught in the pilar coming from beneath her. The insects made wounds along her arm, the second shunpo prevented the bugs from penetrating to deep. She breathed in deeply and charged her слой Cero.

"Ha! Got you that time!" Thomas was pleased to see that he had finally inflicted damage onto his target. But that mask worried him. "I need to keep my distance from her, or do I?" Thomas could feel his Overload technique weakening; the number of bugs escaping from his body decreased, and he was soon left gasping from overexerting himself. I need to get some defense. With that, Thomas began to spawn his special armor beetles to cover his skin.

She used a shunpo leaving a copy behind to confuse thomas, she appearted behind him. The copy remained making it seem as if she hadn;t moved yet. The shell covering, she wondered how strong it was, while she threw a punch at it with her right hand. The слой Cero would give this punch the strength of a cero.

Thomas observed what he thought was Sakura. Something's not right. She appeared slightly blurry, and Thomas realized that it was a fake. It was only then that he felt Sakura's reiatsu behind him and a large charge-up of spiritual energy. His beetles had only covered his right arm at the moment, and he used that to spin around and grab Sakura's hand, hoping to counter her cero with his own armor.
